Trancing

Hello everyone.

Well, what can I say?   Nobody really talks or mentions trancing anymore.  What is 'trancing'?  Today, I think a lot of people think that it has something to do with trance music, techno stuff that people listen to while they have 'phenomenal sex'.  Whatever.  Think of trancing as a combination of phasing and meditation.  Just as a simple way to look at it.

How do you trance?  You focus until you achieve the desired or target of reality.  I guess that's like phasing.  When you trance, you can 'transcend'.  Prolly why they call it 'transcend' TRANCE SEND.  People used to have these seances where the medium would enter a trance and channel a spirit, they prolly still do that stuff somewhere.

Here are a few of my 'pointers' regarding trancing.

- there are a few different levels of trance, all of which are trance, they follow this course  'self hypnosis'...< 'semi-trance'...< 'full trance'
- you know that you are entering the 'trance' when you feel sick to your stomach, dark fuzz in your head, or actually experience the shifting of reality

why does the shift of reality make you feel sick?  Ok, I'll have to stop this and try again later, I've got some serious glitching going on here.

Ok I have to type my posts out in word files first, the glitch won't quit once the scroll bar goes down so far on the page.

So, as I was 'pointing to'... you will feel sick to your stomach when you are entering a trance, why is that?  Firstly, it's probably due to the simple fact... you are transfiguring your reality with hyper self hypnotic focus, and your physical being is actually being harmed by the repetitive, penetrating focus into the multiverse.

Secondly, it's easy... trancing allows spirits (be they fair or fair weathered) to sit there and look at you, and play with your mind.  I know from my older experiences, back when I was a teen, the spirits can be kind, or they can be extremely malevolent.  For instance, one day, in the second year of the Brainwave Quest, nearing the third year, close enough, in the course of a week I tranced into several different domains.  The first was the realm of an old god, a shadow lord.  He told me stuff, and we cut a fine deal.  Hell to pay for failure!  Then, I don't know what it was, but it baited me in, calling itself, "Saint Michael".  Have you heard of him?  Well, in my religious view, he fit the spot on the bill for "Malice", the Fourth of the Tyrant Gods that I was trying to defeat.  So I rocked him up and down, and he basically just chewed me up and spat me out, been hearing his voice ever since.  Malice!  And yes, I am filled with malice, spite, false judgements and false thoughts, but I'll never forget how he came into my range, into MY domain, and taunted me, then baited me to the gates of his "Anti Heaven".  It was one screwball of a battle, and I still haven't figured out the key combo to kick his rear end.  It's supposed to be 'compassion and peace' but it might be more like 'liberation'.

That's getting off the path of trancing, but it just goes to show, what you focus on manifests on some level of existence.  Mental reality is not all there is to existence.  As sentient entities, or, souls, we don't really know what other kinds of existence there is.  Anyway, if phasing is phasing, meditation is meditation, and phantasy is phantasy (and phantasy seems to be a free for all 'create your own existence')  then poor old traditional trancing is left somewhere out there with the 'wild dogs' and 'sorcerors'.

But if you really want to trance, just keep going deeper and deeper while moving forward and then rifle up, if you know what I mean.  Sigh.  There are different forms of trancing, but it comes down to a hypnotic state where your consciousness is altered sufficiently to percieve and experience alternate reality.  That's basically it, from what I've discovered.

I used to meditate / phaze / trance or whatever but now I find electronic music (i.e. trance) better than all those things combined.

This isn't really the audience that requires explanations of trance states.  While we all certainly argue about the details, we are all pretty familiar with trance states, as well as the fact that trance isn't just a musical genre.

Aside from you facing your own fears (shadow self) and interpreting that as malevolent entities, kudos.
be awesome.
