Hello, I'm new here and I'm very interested in this.

This is not the first time I've heard of OBEs/Astral Projections/Lucid dreams nor the first time I've tried, but I haven't had much luck. Whenever I try to use the Mind Awake/Body Asleep method, I tend to get bored or accidentally fall asleep. I am starting to think that I am not very suited for that method. It doesn't help that if I'm not doing something that keeps my interest, I tend to lose focus easily.

I've been browsing these forums for a while before joining, and I have heard of "Phasing". To me, this actually seems like a great method for me. I'm very imaginative and I have tried imagining a scene and interacting with the items there before, but I've never known that it could be used to Astral Project. I'd like your take on if it sounds good, though.

After looking around and searching through posts, you all seem very nice and know a lot. Not to mention how the mention of an Astral Pulse Island interests me.

I've only recently heard of something called an Astral Academy though, and I'm not very sure about what that is. I understand it's kinda like the Island, but what happens there? Is it like an actual academy in that you go there to learn different things?

Excuse me if I seem to be asking a lot, I'm just trying to receive guidance and these forums seem to be a great place to get it.

I don't have the answer to all the questions, but I will help as best I can  :-D

When you are first starting to try to project, it can seem slow, and you may grow impatient, but you have to keep trying.
My parents always tell me how "Nothing good comes easy". Everyday, I find to find that to be more and more true.
If you fall asleep, that is fine. You might actually learn some as you fall asleep like that as well; think about it, if you are trying to keep your mind awake, and end up falling asleep, maybe your mind is in a more alert state, and might end up projecting. In fact, my first projection happened when I wasn't even trying! Keep practicing. Write everything strange/abnormal down. Anything new that happens, is just moving closer and closer to projection.

You said that the Mind Awake/Body Asleep Method might not be for you. I've been told by many that it takes a lot of practice to become able to project with this method. I've heard that the easiest way to project is from a Lucid Dream. Maybe practice with that a little bit also.

I really hope this helped you! If you need information, just ask. We are always eager to help in anyway possible!
