I had this feeling today that we're all taking this OBE, Astral Projection, spiritual enhancers, Channeling crap at face value. You acknowledge it, it's there. But we all do the same thing with these things. Or, I think tools is a Better word for them.

My point is, the mysterious is not as mysterious anymore, I'm not saying projecting and going into space to explore is not one hell of a time, but I think it's time the Astral Pulse community, and everybody else, should start getting creative with our knowledge we have here of these phenomena.

I remember that when, once upon a time, everything was new to me. It was all wierd and interesting. But not so much anymore.... there was a guy on this forum once, who said he could meditate and project while standing up with his EYES OPEN! Now that is what I call interesting, now just visualize that with me: He is one of a kind. (Or of a few, i dunno, i dont know any person with that talent.)

But not to put too much emphasis on meditating. Moving along, we have talents such as the 'kinesis family. Ever thought of experimenting with that?! Using pyrokinesis and wind kinesis, and maybe also a 'transformer' kinesis? Idunno what that is... but it sounds like a hell of a lot of fun! Let's have fun. Let's be teenage kids with this, come on, WERE PIONEERS!

MANIFEST SOMETHING ON FIRE IN YOUR BACKYARD! MAKE YOUR LAWN CHAIR FLY IN THE AIR, AND LAUGH AT YOUR NEIGHBORS AS THEY WATCH YOU AND SAY TO them, 'SORRY! I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF. I'm having fun.'

Get in a phychic fight with somebody, hell..

WHY MUST WE WAIT TO PROGRESS THIS FURTHER?? ?? ?? ??

DO YOU GET WHAT I'M SAYING? Go do it! NOW

I feel it's happening already... We are making tremendous progress thanks to the internet, this would not have been possible 20 years ago...

I'm not sure how many people feel they have a duty to research and spread the knowledge, but I certainly do... I'm still a beginner (16 OBEs, 1 year of experience), yet I'm already writing about all the stuff I've learned so far... I recently passed 50 pages, and I've got quite a few left to go!

I guess it's important to not just look at each other and wait for someone to do something -- if you want the world to change, you're here in the physical with the power to make things move forward.

I haven't managed to AP yet, and when I do, my main goal is to basically have fun. I'd like to meet dead people, fictional people, and have adventures.

I would like to use this spiritual/AP stuff to benefit myself, though. Is it okay to do that? I hope it doesn't sound selfish, since I'm really only thinking of myself here - but I don't think there's anything wrong with a bit of self-indulgence. Well, I'm not sure that there's really anything wrong with a lot of it.

I do like the idea of using AP to travel to the homes of sceptics, see what they look like, then hopefully remember, and describe their homes to them (note, the people I am referring to are people I know on the Internet, so I would have no prior knowledge of what their homes look like.) Surely that would make them believe in this stuff?

You'd be amazed how quickly that thought leaves one mind.   :)

Does it? I hope it doesn't with me. I'd like to spend some time having fun with Steve Irwin. Speaking of Steve, Ocean's Deadliest (the documentary he was working on when he died) is being shown in the UK on Sunday; I hope to watch it.

I also want to talk to Maurice Gibb (one of the Bee Gees) and Andy Gibb (the Bee Gees' baby brother.) And as for fictional people, well, I'd LOVE to go on the adventure with the kids in The Goonies - "HEY, YOU GUYS!"

I've also become quite a fan of River Phoenix over the past few months - it would be nice to have a chat with him.

I'd agree with that.
It's one thing to think about and another thing to experience first hand and in one's face.

Well, it's not a psychic fight I want to have. I'd prefer to stay away from fights!  :-) I just like the idea of talking to Steve Irwin and Maurice and Andy Gibb. It sounds like it would be fun to me.

Yep, since we're on the course of "life changing" things, I thought I might say that I was just wandering truly free in thoughts a couple of nights ago. I had a vision, and when I became conscionce of what it meant, I clearly saw what life was. I was on a red track, parallel to about maybe 8 or 9 others (computer chip??). Thin, red, lines. they could all change direction and elevation and all that jazz, but as far as I saw, they were always parallel. I was on a track on the far right , I was a red square on the track. I sensed my friend as a blip in front of me. I felt that the decisions that I make affect the position of me and the other blips on the line. And also a vice versa for other blips on the line. Some blips had farther gaps, some smaller. I also got this affectionate feeling that it was always changing.

I also sensed phemonism not far behind, possibly on another track, actually just close behind me (also phemonism far up ahead that i could relate to [i probably knew them]), and not to mention a great sense of brief mysterious strangenesss behind me, and an air of fineness about the whole thing. Everything was fine, and ok! kind of. It held everything about everything within the simple image of the red lines. It was quite fun actually. Space and the universe was cool, but it wasn't all that great compared to what was in these great red lines.

What do you think it represents? At first I thought it was parallel universes with people I knew on my line, but I don't know really.

What do you guys think of this weird, great revalation?

Sorry people, I will respond to your thoughts about the first post later, I didn't ignore you!

For a couple years I interacted with someone that is in the public eye.  I'm still not sure if it was the actual person or just someone using their face to enlist my trust.   I suppose it doesn't matter now because whoever they were, they helped me with being lucid and focusing.  It seemed and still seems to be all about learning.

Once you find yourself outside your body and conscious of that fact, I honestly don't think talking to some deceased celebrities will be first and for most in your mind.  But I cannot wait for you to have your first OBE and prove me wrong. :-D

You might be right, but I hope it is one of the things that I do (when I finally get out.) I think it's great that so many people use AP to learn, but I think I'd rather have loads of fun. I'd take time to learn and progress too, but...having fun is what appeals to me more.

Besides, hanging around with Steve Irwin would be most exciting, I think. I taped Ocean's Deadliest, but I have yet to watch it. I think it will be somewhat eerie.

When you're in awe, your not really thinking much about talking to James Brown. For me AP isn't about living a fantasy, it's about experiencing Reality.

i use OBEs for fun, but also for personal development.  i find that they can tell us alot about ourselves, what we could be doing, and where we might be going.

on the topic of progression- do people on this forum regularly meet up?  im trying to achieve this with a firend of mine, but not quite sure how to go about it.

Me first OBE, I think I just floated in my room and drooled (metaphorically). I could care less about anything, I was just wanted the feeling of unconditional love and glory to flow through my body forever. It was truly glorious and perhaps the best I have ever felt... Stookie is very right, I was to busy floating as a vegetative ball of bliss to think about visiting Kurt Cobain... but as I began to progress I also began to visit places, but curently I'm kinda stuck with trying to leave my room, which wasn't a problem before.
I'd rather spend my life attempting to make myself happy rather than prevent myself from being unhappy.

But Steve-o's different.  :-) I actually do think crocodiles are kind of cute, in their way, after watching him.

I should start a thread about him sometime in the Chat section.

I have to admit that after reading your threads for a few months now, that pretty much contain Stevo, the beegee's and a few others, I hate to think you are being bogus.  I'm not trying to hurt your feelings but you seem either, really young, or just out for a lark....  I don't get you anymore.   Wanna share?

i believe that until we get to a point where we have control over where we project, we are guided to the places that we need to be.  instead of trying to leave your room, explore it.  you may discover something about yourself that you didnt realise.  try looking in a mirror.

I don't quite understand what you mean, TalaNay - you think I'm being bogus? Bogus about what? What would make you think that?

I am fairly young, anyway - I'm 18. And if, by "out for a lark" you mean "out to have fun", then that's true as well. My sole purpose for learning AP is to have fun. And I really, really, really like and admire Steve Irwin and the Bee Gees and their brother Andy Gibb. That's the reason I want to meet up with them. I want to talk to them, to interact with them. They were good people, really, really nice. I wish Steve, Maurice and Andy were still alive. So when I finally AP, I want to meet them. There's nothing wrong with that.

I know I've referred to Steve and the Bee Gees a number of times, but I'm sure the majority of my posts haven't contained references to them. And the reason that I have mentioned them a few times is because I love them. I think Steve and the Bee Gees are great and I love talking about them. And I do intend to start threads about them in the OT forum eventually.

Jela, what picture are you referring to? The picture of Steve? That's a snake he's holding in that picture. "What a beauty!"

I meant nothing more than what I said.  It almost seems like this is a joke and you are seeing how far you can take it.  If that isn't the case, then I'm sorry.  Just a distinct feeling I've been getting lately.  Not big deal.

I watched some Croc hunter the other day.  He was such a happy dude. :)

I don't understand why you would think I'm making a joke, though? (I'm not.) What is there for me to joke about? I'm basically just a person who really, really likes the Bee Gees and Steve. And Andy Gibb too.

Hehehe.  Perhaps it is because of that.  You seem very focused and as much as you think of them through the days, I'm surprised you haven't been dreaming about them.

I haven't dreamed about the Bee Gees in ages, but I've had some dreams about Steve Irwin. One of them was only a few nights ago, and it was quite spooky - I dreamed I was watching him in the water at the Great Barrier Reef not long before he died.
