Hey guys, only joined this site yesterday, but I've read posts which talk about meditative states such as ''F12'' or likewise. I've tried searching around to what this means, but no to avail. Would somebody care to clear up my confusion for me?
There is no "official" Focus 11.
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_permanent_astral_topics/focus_10_mind_awakebody_asleep-t24783.0.html
That explains Focus 10... and goes a bit into Focus 12.
Although, my suggestion is to completely forget all this Focus talk and just practice. :)
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_level as a primer.
Ah, I see. Yes, this all makes sense now. Thanks. :-)
C1 or Focus 1 (F 1), is the physical world.
F 3 is the state where Hemi-Sync starts to take on any effect.
The M-Band, a state between F 3 and F 10, the M-Band is the Focus Level where all thoughts of humans garble up.
F 10 is the first state where it's possible to OBE to the RTZ.
Then F 10 splits into two Focus Levels, F 11 & F 12.
F 11 is a way into yourself, were you get access to your deeper energies, your "access channel".
F 12 is the way out into our universe on an astral level. Here you can meet aliens.
F 15 is a state with all times, but not with time at all, also called no time. Connected to F 27.
F 18 is a state where you can go deep into PUL (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/pul_pure_unconditional_love_retrievals-t33529.0.html). Little is known exactly how this works to me.
F 21 is a 3-D darkness, which functions as bridge to other energy systems like Locale III or even more different.
F 22 is dream land and drunks, insane, demented persons.
The Flying Fuzzy zone, a Focus Level somewhere between F 22 and F 23, a place for some discarnates.
F 23 is a state where discarnates get stuck usually completely alone.
etc.
Now memorize this and come back tomorrow. :)
Bleh, they just created "F12 etc" as a way of trying to classify every single thing. No need to bother with them but if you want to than go ahead

Nothing more than one mans theory of how to break down different levels/dimensions of awareness of ones consciousness.
Stay far away from stuff like this, especially before you even experience anything. Dont wanna clutter your brain with other peoples bs, it might alter your own experience.
The F-whatever stuff is irrelevant. Just good for an author to fill the pages when writing a book. Alot of people gobble it up like scripture.

Each Focus Level corresponds to a specific brain wave pattern, measured by certified medical personal using EEG apparatus on the physical brain. Many times the test persons also verified by verbal communication that they had reach each specific Focus Level.
The main scientific mapping work was done during the 1970s and 1980s.
Yeah agreeing with the above.. It can be used as a guide perhaps. But youre better off finding your own path. Everybody is different. Also I believe its a lot more involved than individual focus levels. For example. I believe that these focus levels overlap, inter twine and its possible to be at more than one at the same time. (and not necerssary overlapping ones) Frank Kepple made a simplier focus model than monroes which works better for me.
Useful because there does seem to be a difference between Astral experiences where you are projected into your own concious, and astral experiences where youre projecting outwards. Frank just referred these as Focus 2 or Focus 3. I personally found that a lot more easier to understand.
Dont read anything as gospel. Just use it as a guide and come to your own conclusions.
What I'm saying is that in the end is this:
Robert Monroe made *HIS* model of reality...
Frank Kepple made *HIS* model of reality...
You should go and discover *YOUR* model of reality and not rely upon other people to tell you "how it is". :)
You should go and discover *YOUR* model of reality and not rely upon other people to tell you "how it is". :-)
I agree!
If in doing so you realize that *YOUR* model 'fits' with *OTHER* models, then you are doing very well glasshopper!
