I'm not necessarily new to AP, but I'm no expert either. Probably about once a month I'll lucid dream, and from there go OOB. I was thinking today about how I would like to visit a friend that's 600 miles away, and I wanted to leave him something. Maybe write a few words on a piece of paper in his room or something. Is that possible? I've heard of spirits doing it before, so I can't see how it would be much different if I were to do it. My only concern is that I would end up going through what I try to write with. Is there any other way that I can make it obvious that I was there?

Bob Monroe of "Journies out of the Body" fame, claimed to have pinched someone and they had a mark on them from it.  I think I have been seen, but I was not ever able to write anyting or leave other physical evidense.

I guess anything is possible that doesn't create a paradox, so you might as well try and see if it works. I've heard about people altering physical things before.

One thing I've learned is, you can change something in the astral but a physical person might not see it. The reason is a little confusing. It isn't that the astral is fake, but rather, the 'physical' is fake. People have faulted minds that keep them stuck in a specific area of reality, so you would have to change that specific area. (and I'm not sure how to do that)
