Radio Sounds in the Astral

Radio frequencies are mostly around 100 megahertz. That means their wavelength is about 1/3 meter, very short. Most people say astral is at a higher "frequency" than here.

I dont think its about what kind of music. Its how strong the radio transmitter is.

Do you listen to pop? Have you ever heard pop? My guess would be that you are tapping into your earworm (I don't know, that thing that makes the music play in your head all the time?) while submerging into subconsciousness, and then out into the astral. I'm trying to research as much as I can to acheive stuff, but I'm a slow and misinformed researcher.

ImmuredSoul - I try to avoid pop at all costs.  The only radio station I listen to is a classical music one.  I listen to music, yes, but not from the radio.  Personally, I can't stand the incessant noise from the radio, the repetitive trash pop that is played over and over and the (mostly) rubbish that is spouted from the DJs.

Sarah gets off her high horse now. [:I]

Perhaps as Beavis infers, I need to go through the lower frequency first, to get to the higher astral world, therefore while passing through this frequency, pop is the predominant sound (rather than classical or operatic or whatever) because of the dominance of it on the soundwaves.

Sarah goes away to mull this over, as she's not normally a philosophiser - and, more importantly, to eat her lunch. [;)]

Ho hum.

This is an interesting topic.

LOL @ the term earworm. I like that. I often get it as i am falling asleep, or often, before the point of seperation as iam listening to my subconcious sing to me. It is so crystal clear, just as if i have a miniture band inside my head :)
I feel as if my subconcious often uses it as a wake up call to say 'hey, your asleep..but listen..your fully concious! Time to project!'

So yeah..the brain really is a wonderful thing..

Zangatese - I also use it as an aid to project.  I know if I hear those sounds, I'm ready to go!

Ever cloud has a silver lining, eh?!! [8D]

Often I hear sounds just as I am entering the astral world.   The sounds vary, but predominantly they are 'radio' sounds, sometimes music and sometimes voices.

I was surprised to find that the music I hear is 'pop' music.  To someone who is a relative beginner in the business of astral projections, I half expected to hear beautiful celestial strains, especially given the images seen and impression got in the New Age shops.

However, what was reassuring was that when I delved a little deeper (mainly via books and astral websites), I found that I was not alone in hearing these more everyday sounds.

I have been thinking about why radio sounds are so normal.  If, as is generally believed, every thought, vision, sound etc is on the astral, and if some are imprinted more than others through "strength", then just stop to imagine how "strong" pop music must be.  It is played repetitively every single day in hundreds of countries, not only in the radio station itself, but also through the airwaves to millions of homes.  And then stop to think about which stations are the most popular.  The ones with pop music.

Imagine how many pop records are being played and "heard" (not necessarily "listened to") right now!

Perhaps it's no wonder that pop music is quite a feature in the astral!

Hi ho.
