Greetings Jeff,

Excellent experience; thanks very much indeed for sharing it with us!

Do you think you made it out of the "real-time zone"? That might have been why you didn't get as far as API which is in the Astral. Just a thought anyway.

Thanks again!

With best regards,

Adrian.

I also have that problem, to travel to a specific place...  My focusing is very bad.  Maybe you could try to use a picture to get to API.  First, create the picture wherever you are (draw it, make it appear in a book or on a poster) and then just "dive" into it...  Maybe it will help.

Jeff, what exactly did you experience and do right after your heart chakra activated? That seems to be the point at which i and a lot of other people seem to get stuck at when we try to do concious obe's.
One time i had a similar experience of ejecting and traveling at high speed and not seeing anything.
My experince today was of my body going numb and just a little bit of tingles, it was a lot less distracting than vibrations, got close to projecting but i noticed my stream of conciousness just going blank a couple of times instead of having dream images appear.
In the world in general and in this nation
May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

You're welcome Adrian.  I know that when I was first starting out and I wasn't able to have experiences of my own, I was hungry to read about the experiences of others.  It was almost like living the experience through their eyes.

So now that I am proficient enough to have these almost regularly, the least I can do is publish my accounts so that others may benefit from them. [:)]

That could be possible.  Although there were some incongruencies within the experience that made me think that perhaps I was in an astral counterpart of the RTZ.

I remember when I was flying in the black void, I thought about something Brim said about how he gets to the API.  He said he imagines flying over the ocean, and from there, he then looks for the island.

Well, when I was flying in the blackness, I tried to envision myself flying over the ocean.  This is when I felt a spray of water against my legs.....but I think I started to get impatient with travelling so far with no vision and no forseeable end to my journey.  That is when I imagined myself just landing and I found myself next to the bed.

I just remember that as my lower body started to feel like it was sinking into the bed (which was really the sensation of my astral body rising out of the physical body), I felt these vibrations spread upwards from my legs towards my head.

As these vibrations moved up my body, the astral was disconnecting.  When it got to my chest, this was when I felt my heart chakra going crazy.

I can't really tell you what I did, except that I wasn't aware of it until it was happening.  Now when you say you get stuck at this point, do you mean that you separate but part of your astral body gets stuck in the physical body at the chest area?  Or are you saying that you don't yet reach the separation stage, and that all you feel is an active heart chakra?

This happens to me 90% of the time.  Only within the last year or two have I been able to slow myself down and land on the ground so my vision could kick in.  I have never had any sort of vision when travelling at speeds more than 30 m.p.h. or so.

The numbness is a good sign, Ralph.  It seems to really be a bonus when you wake up after sleeping and find yourself in this state, only because your mind is still close to being in an astral/dream environment.

I think many times, newcomers are quick to prepare their body for a projection, but they have no idea what to do with their mind!  That is why I always say, a relaxed mind is better than a relaxed body.  If you can relax your mind, then your body will follow.

Hey guys....I am including my latest astral experience for you all to read and check out.

I woke up in the middle of the night, and before moving my body, I thought to myself, "Let's try and OBE."  I was laying in my right side and my body (my arm particularly) felt extremely numb, the same way your leg feels numb when you sit on it too long.

All I had to do was imagine myself getting deeper and deeper in relaxation.  Within seconds, my feet felt like they were melting into the bed, but what was really happening was my astral feet were raising up from my physical body.

I then felt the vibrations sweep over me instantly, and my heart chakra go wild.  I rolled out of the body and stood there in the darkness, holding onto something.  I then said, "I wanna go to the API (Astral Pulse Island)."

I imagined either a pyramid in front of me or the ocean, and soon, I was flying.  Fast at first, and then SUPER FAST.  I couldn't see anything at this point, but I just trusted myself that I would eventually gain eyesight as I got close by.  While speeding by in the darkness, I felt a spray of water come up on my leg, so I thought that perhaps I was getting near the island.

However, it seemed like I was flying forever, and I thought, "Oh no!  I don't want to be flying in this void the entire time and have that be my entire experience!  I need to do something!!"

So while flying in the darkness, I imagined that I was going to land, and sure enough, I started to drop, feet first, to the ground.  When I finally made contact with something solid, still unable to see, I took my hands on the ground and began to imagine that I was picking up sand, just hoping that this would transport me to the island.

It didn't!  My eyesite kicked in and I was in a bedroom.  It looked like the bedroom of my wife's childhood home (although at the time of this experience, I believed it was my own bedroom that I currently sleep in).  It was still really dark in the room, but I decided to turn and see if I could see myself on the bed.  I saw someone's head under the covers, facing the opposite direction, and took it to be my wife.

I then turned and left the room.  On the left was a door which leads to the outside backyard (this door doesn't exist in my house, only in my wife's childhood home).  I didn't question where I was, because I knew I was in the astral and anything is possible.

I took my arms out in front of me and pushed through the wall.  As I walked through it, I smiled, knowing how cool I always find doing that!  Outside, it seemed early morning and there was lots of light and color.  I tried to walk and suddenly, I felt light and wobbly, and I began to fly.

"Hmmm," I thought, "it's much easier to fly I guess."

Still wanting to somehow look for the API, I soared about 15 feet off the ground, trying to see if I was anywhere near a pyramid or the ocean.  I wasn't.  So instead, I decided to glide down the street, looking at the houses and cars below me....hoping that if I saw something that caught my interest, I would swoop down and investigate.

However, I started to lose the experience and I ended up back in my body.  I still need practice in going to a location that I try to target.
