The 2 past mornings I've had experiences.
I always use to stay in bed once I wake up as my bed feels like heaven just after waking up, yesterday however I was closing my eyes and felt like I was flying in the darkness or something after a short while. Then somehow I started to see images, it was like if I would have my eyes open even if they were closed. I saw myself turning pages in a photo album.

So tonight I told omkar that and he said it was some technique where I shall not move once I wake up, keep my eyes closed and start to count and if doing correct I wouldn't miss the REM time and therefor in 20-40 sec or so, experience things.

So, I then went to bed at 02:30 am

I don't remember what I did when I woke up, but somehow I remembered to not move, have my eyes closed and counting.
A few secounds later I heard something, I don't know what it was but it felt like I wasn't alone home :S
So I then opened my eyes and were gonna go up, but then I realize that I can't move!
I was start thinking that I'm in sleep paralysis and the sounds might be from the monsters I've seen on YouTube (the sleep paralysis videos), I hoped that they wouldn't show up.
But a few secounds later I tried move again, and suddenly I could!

But here's the weird part, when I started to go up with my head, I saw in my left eye that I did. But when I saw in my right eye, I was still left in my bed :S
It felt like if my head would have been in 2, that the half with my left eye went up from bed while the right half/eye was staying in bed.

After this I can't remember so much of what I did. But I was staying in my bed and had a vivid dream about my city was filled with water after a tsunami.

Somebody know what it was this morning?
Yesterday I was wonder if it was all just a dream, the experience with the images. Because what if I just have dreamed it all?
But then when omkar told me that it's a technique for it, I think that it wasn't a dream after all.

Somebody posted a similar topic about feeling like he was projecting on one half of his brain only... strange phenomena, wish I could give you an explanation. All I can guess is that you experienced bilocation, feeling like you're in the physical and non-physical simultaneously. I experience this often but not at the point of separation like I'm guessing you did.
