Hi BG,

Thought forms/emotions fuel your experience on the astral. If you were anxious/depressed, then your feelings instantly took you into that type of zone. Don't worry, it's very easy to be nervous at first.

Did this happen late at night? It's even easier to get sucked up into the negative zones at night, for the absence of light symbolises negativity in your mind, thus bringing you into into the astral zone most closely related to what's on your mind.

The hardest part of astral projection, IMHO, is learning to control instant thought-come-emotion which generates your surroundings.

If it feels more "real" than a lucid dream, then yes, you were probably in the astral. Congratulations!

A good suggestion is to meditate during the day or evening, or to keep a TV/radio on low in the background at night. Silence can be deafening at night, due to the lack of stimuli, causing your brain to create all kinds of crazy thoughtforms to try and take its place.

Good luck!

Hello everyone,

I'll get right to the point. I was laying down and trying to induce a deep trance when all of a sudden I was shot into this scene. I was staring at this car that was about 3 feet away from me and noticed that it was flashing to a lighter color. I figured it was some change of light that was causing the car to fluctuate so i turned around to see where it was emanating from. At that moment the strangest feeling had struck me. I looked behind me and the sky was draped with misty dark clouds all pouring out from this one ominous point in the sky. I felt all alone and that it was some type of world that I broke into. I felt as though I just tripped into that world and it aknowledged my presence with a feeling of it wanting to keep me captive there. It was an unpleasant place judging from the mood of that ominous presence and the desolate feeling of being the only one there. It was highly exciting when I reawoke for I feel I was truly in some other dimension. Could this have been a lower underworld? It truly did not feel like other lucid dreams I have had before because it came to me with a powerful feeling of being "there" and the fact that it felt as though I had crossed over. Teehee. I'm laughing right now becasue it was an awesome experience and would love to find out what was really or possibly going on. Please help me out with this one.

Thanks,

Blue Giant
