Few questions about reoccuring dreams.  Just seeing if anyone has any input  :-)

I tried astral projection for a bit a few years ago.  Attempted it for a month or so then just said ck it.  Have enough stuff to figure out here on earth (science and math is a lifelong journey), no reason for me to care about chasing some dream world.

Anyway, every few months for as long as I can remember i've been asleep then felt an overwelming blackness come over me.  Like i'm being suffocated with darkness.  It is darker than what I could imagine as the darkest thing I could imagine.  It sometimes feels like a giant spider and sometimes just a blob of darkness.  I always wake up screaming then immediatly turn on my lights.  Followed by a sleep on the couch.  Anybody else get this?

I travel alot for work as well.  Sometimes I share a hotel room with a co-worker when need be (only one room left, or whatever reason).  I woke up and there was a women that literally came flying in through the door and started strangling me.  I looked over at my co-worker in the other bed and tried to hollar for help but couldn't make a noise.  I eventually passed out and woke up a few hours later and everything was fine.  This has happened a few times while on the road.

Last one is a dream about a women.  We made love then another women appeared and she said "you can have him".  The women become more grotesque as time goes on then they just stop altogether and the one really pretty first lady comes back after a year or so.  I should probably ask her wtf is up next time but it's kinda hard when your sleeping.

Anybody tell me what all this nonsense is about?  I'm just a guy who likes driving a sports car and drinking a few beers on the weekend.  Nothing fancy here.

Have a search on this site for sleep paralysis. There's some recent info by Bedeekin that you should read.
It will explain lots.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
