Title: A haunting?
Post by: Hephaestus on January 18, 2003, 07:46:59
How could you sense them as being greys, sensing something is there I can understand as I have had that experience myself but being precise as to what they are ive never known before, have you seen them?, can you explain your sensing technique a bit, im very interested.

As for getting rid of them I hear that RB's PPSD book is useful, not got one myself but wouldnt mind getting my hands on a copy.
Lighting a white candle can have good effects, burning certain incenses have been known to work, saying the lords prayer (if you believe in that *not everyone does*) has been known to ward of evil spirits.
I have a technique which ive not tried but I think it may work, try speaking to them in the physical and tell them blatantly to F**k off. LOL.
Im not really up on exact forms of defence so others on this board will be more useful, hope you get the help you need.

Thanks for that. And about knowing exactly what they are, some spirits actually just pop out and as soon as you feel the unnatural fear you suddenly get an instant picture of the creature. Maybe that's just me, because I've been haunted before and I knew what the creature was without it even showing its ugly face to me.

And about that technique telling it to blatantly F*** off (lol), that would work except for one thing. They appeared to me in a dream last night and I tried yelling at them but no voice would come out because of pure fear. It's beyond the average human brown-pants fear, it is so intense you can hardly move.

Thanks for the incence and the candle thing. Also I don't really believe in God but I might give that Lord's Prayer thing as a last resort, if I go near-insane before I get the books.

Thanks again

When fear stricken it can help to think to your self "I am in control."  This works more so when you are dreaming, if you realize that you are anyhow.  But it can work just as wll in real life.

I have found that this works well. After repeating it enuogh times in your head you will find that you begin to say it out loud. After that you find you can talk and can then command them to leave.

I know what this is like, exactly.  Question.  When in certain locations to get images and feelings from those that are just passing through, or mean no harm?

Well I know these things aren't just passing by because the images in my mind are hostile and keep coming back. Also Greys have a hostile and menacing nature.

I have however, felt a presence that was simply passing through. You don't usually get fear from them because they mean no harm. All I feel is that something is there but it's just...there. I just sort of know it doesn't mean harm because it isn't sending hostile images to my mind or giving me the unnatural fear that evil spirits give me.

Hi,  You might want to try also this: Get some Maharishi Gandharva Veda music CDs and leave them playing all day/night. This musics are special,  they clean the environment from negative/ stressful energies and so any low entities around will go away. I have a friend of mine who had a similar experience and this kind of effect really works. This musics need to be played at the appropriate times, so you have a CD for about 3-4 hrs.( 4-7 am/7-10 am etc.) you can check this website www.mum.edu . Hope it helps.

well i've never run into a grey before, but i've had a few fights on different planes and i think there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

1) these entities might not actually exist. that is to say, they could be projections of your own mind. much like we create our own dreams, we can create very real astral hallucinations

2) if they are in fact astral entities, they are of course non-physical entities. this means that they absolutely cannot harm you physically. the only thing they can do (and seem to be doing) is scaring you out of your wits. so it's your fear that they are attracted to, and your fear that feeds them.

3) there is no spoon. when you are dealing with the non-physical planes, thought creates reality. This means that you are exactly as powerful as you think you are, as you choose to be. the only thing stopping you from blowing these entities away is that you're so afraid of them. like you said, you tried in a dream but didn't have a voice.

so use logic with yourself. fear is an instinctual response to danger. If you use logic to convince yourself that these entities cannot harm you, because they are not physical, then the fear will lessen. As the fear lessens your power increases and it will make you even less afraid. all the rituals that you might choose to do, such as burning a white candle, etc. have the exact power of the belief that you put into them. If you have faith in a higher power, then use that faith to convince you that you are safe. otherwise just have faith in yourself. they cannot harm you.

I've recently found a new way to tackle fear.  When something scary comes up, become conscious of yourself.  Each time your mind flicks back to the fear, become conscious.  As in, aware of what your body is doing (breathing etc).
Sounds a bit too simple, but try it.  Works for me in many situations.

I also suggest using music, according to Robert cheerful, uplifting music creates uplifting atmosphere, which is poison to the negatives. Robert suggests classical music or nursery rhymes. Also light is a good repellant. Incence is also mentioned(eg. garlic). Of course combining these is preferable.

So when you go to sleep, leave at least small bedside lamp on(which you have done already) and play some music silently(not heavy music!) You could also throw some pryer in, ask sincerely from your heart that beings of light will protect you. Put some emotion behind this request and it will be heard and then KNOW and FEEL that you are protected.

I wish you well,

Hi.
I was once practicing energy constructs in my room late at night, near about 11:30 to 12 midnight. I was just playing around with a ball of energy and suddenly it went wierd.

I heard at least one strange noise, and sensed 2-3 presences. I had the impression these were short, big headed, Greys. I know that may sound crazy, because popular belief is that a Grey is an alien. When actually I read somewhere on the internet about astral projection that a Grey is an evil spirit that lives in the astral planes.

I have also been sensing a massive, large and shadowed creature for at least 2 months before I sensed the Greys. I believe it is a Phantom or something like the Mothman from the movie, "The Mothman Prophecies," based on true events.

I've never been able to sleep since I heard the noise and sensed the presences. I play a gameboy game every night to keep my mind off the creatures and using energy, as both of those seem to attract them. I sound childish but I have slept with the light on for weeks, creating a "light shield" to ward off the creatures, though my low experience means the shield could be quite weak. I don't have much experience with energy so laying astral traps and protection shields around my room or house is a bit out of my league. Please help me!
