I'm sharing my tonight's astral experience.
I went to bed with a little of fever. At 4 or 5 AM, I felt my breathing stopping, but as I knew that is a pre-projection symptom I tried to cultivate that feeling.
I tried to get out, but it was difficult, I awakened every time I felt myself free of breathing.
Sleepiness did its work, anyway, and I obtained an exteriorization. But it wasn't a full one. I had out my legs, and I heard a lot of voices like waiting for me, as if we were going to a party... You know, the same friendship felling that you have just before you are going to a big party. But to be out with'em was impossible to me.
I had my legs out and I felt like if somebody was massaging my feet, like rolling my fingers. And I had a perception, this one I've never had before. I tried to see through my eyes, and I saw a light. I struggle even more and I saw a shape, maybe a human shape.
That was my astral-dream, I say dream because my lack of lucidity could make my perceptions wrong. I felt something, but my perceptions, I think, could be too subjectives.

Secondly, I am very interested in your experience, because I've had something very similar - the feeling of presence of many friendly entities, the massaging, the light...
Either we've had similar dreams, or maybe guides really come to people from time to time, encouraging them to come out.
