Hey there!
I had an experience that was quite unusual to me. First and foremost, I was curious to know on one of the Gateway series cd's, Wave 7 (track5 to be exact), is there a point around 20 minutes into it where the guide asks you to go towards the bright light and there is a 1 second interruption of what sounds like a snap and a guitar going off. Really whacked out excrement, but when I was listening to it, I was all chillin and flowing until i heard that break. Right after it interrupts, it goes right back into the wave, but as soon as my ears heard it my eyes began to flicker like a grump. I mean either it was a hard R.E.M. stage where i was aware of my physical body, or some serious seizure...haha. I hope not the latter. I've never experienced my eyes to just flicker hard and quick like that. They weren't opening up at all it was as though the muscles were constricting themselves to make it like I was blinking. I felt some serious pressure enter my head area, as though it became very dense. I don't know what to expect from focus 21, but can anyone halp clarify, direct or just drop me a line on what they think.

Cheers and much respect,

Blue Giant

Hi,

It sounds a little like what happened to me a little while back -- see this post.

I was already in sleep paralysis when my eyes started going wacko.  It did vaguely occur to me that REM must feel something like that.  It did bring on some wacky visuals.  And I too felt a very strong pressure build up around my crown.

It wasn't a very pleasant experience.  But apparently pretty normal. :dont-know:

I have a relative who suffers from epilepsy and he gets two kinds of seizures:  The kind that you see in movies, in which there is always some loss of consciousness, and small ones, which are almost undetectable to others, like an 'aura' which are precursors to the big ones. (grand mal).  He usually can tell when they are coming.  I guess next time you listen to the cd, have someone there to see if you do something other than eye flutter that may seem like a real seizure.  I myself get the eye flutters when I do energy work and am very tired, so chances are it's just that, but it never hurts to be safe.
