Well, I bought some 5-HTP of eBay and got them for some days ago. Tried 200mg 5-HTP for a day ago and well, I didn't feel any differences. Recalled some dreams but they wasn't more vivid than usually.
I also bought L-theanine, that just arrived.
I do have B75 vitamin that contains 7,5mg B6 vitamin and 75mg rest of the B complex. Also 75mg choline.

I just wonder, mixing all of these, what could effect be? and may it be safe?
I know that the 5-HTP and B6 is safe. Not sure about the B75 though? Anyway, heard that 5-HTP and B6 shall be great together. Anybody who tried?

Also about L-theanine, I been trying it before and had some good recall, anybody know anything about mixing it with any of the other supplements I have?

Anybody here using anything at all?

There is no point mixing the two... because both effect the body differently.

5-Hydroxytryptophan is used to metabolise or biosynthesise tryptophan into serotonin and serotonin to melatonin.

So you might as well take melatonin... problem is, melatonin is the bodies natural sedative and will give you a great nights sleep.. not good dream memory directly.

Even then... there is no real proof the melatonin is responsible for 'dreaming' as much as there isn't any proof melatonin is biosynthesised into DMT in the pineal gland. There is no proof that DMT is the reason why we dream or have OOBEs. No matter how much Rick Strassman states that DMT is the spirit molecule... he still hasn't found this proof yet. I used to be mad on this idea until I started studying neuroscience.

There is a LOT of bad science regarding the pineal gland.

Theanine I don't know about much and had a little glance online for you and found it is a direct psychoactive extracted form Green Tea. Instead of popping pills... why not just drink green tea? It's probably less expensive and more accessible.

Taking both 5-HTP and L-theanine is like putting ice and heat on the same area... one knocks you out... the other improves cognition.

"Adverse effects have only been documented from vitamin B6 supplements and never from food sources." (wikipedia)

food sources being the better and natural way of getting it. Our bodies are VERY efficient at extracting vitamins you know.

I'm just a 'do it naturally' believer Sourzu so you'll only get these types of answers from me.
