Ok. This AP only lasted 10 seconds (it seemed like it).
After I got up from a dream, I went to sleep again. I felt the vibrations, got out my body. I was in my room, It was dark..but I could see a little (I think this due to I was aping when it was night)...I went to the stairs, But it was not in the correct position like my real house! After that....Due to darkness, I woke up.
The things that ruin my AP:
1- Closing my eyes.
2- Darkness. If I went to a place which I can't see anything...I wake up.
Question:
1- Why does closing my eyes/darkness always wake me up? (Although when I am dreaming and close my eyes, I do not wake up!!!)
2- Have you tried closing your eyes? Did you wake up?
I have the opposite problem, being reluctant to open my eyes while in a trance, then realize later that I was obe and all I had to do was to open my eyes, or say full clarity now. This happens all the time, like a false awaking, as lucid as normal consciousness.
Otherwise I never even think of eyes as taking for granted that I have sight. Never think about glasses, or trying to focus on things, it just happens.
In Monroe's Astral Dynamics, he mentions trying to meditate during daylight hours to have a better RTZ experience. Hard though as most of us have to work and have noisy mornings on the weekends. Maybe take a quiet lunch break "nap".
