Visible exit through eyelids...

I remember one experience I had (about 7 years ago now) where I went for a nap in the afternoon, and then woke up in sleep paralysis.  This was spontaneous (as most of my experiences were).  Since it was daytime, I could see the room very well.  I dont see how medical community can say these are hallucinations btw, and this experience confirms that they are not, for me anyway.  I could see the room in vivid detail.  Everything as it should be, and I could hear my parents upstairs (I was living at home at the time) I couldnt move because of the paralysis and so since it was semi light in the room and was not at all frightened by the sp, I decided to use it to try and induce an OBE.  I closed my eyes, and that time instead of going from the perspective of being in body to out of body, with no discernable period in between, this time I literally floated out through my eye lids!  The only comparisson I can make is to the part in the old movie Ghost where he goes though the lady. It looked like that.

Has anyone else ever had that happen?  The complete visual exit?? I have read MANY MANY peoples experiences on my own site, Astral Society where I am staff, and on here, and nobody seems to mention that.  MOst times we seem to just bounce from one state to the other oblivious of the step in between... the actual exit!

my first obe was when i saw a exit through my eyelids.

I've had experiences like that too and they are spontaneous for me too. When I first tried attempted atral projetion I was suing binaural beats and I began to have lucid dreams, false awakenings, OBEs and sleep paralysis, and even seeing through eyelids.

In my first OBE I felt as if a wind was gently blowing on me and I rolled off my bed (in astral form, feeling as light as a feather. The exit felt as if I were a piece of paper peeled off of my body without very much effort. The room was dark at the time, so I really couldn't see very well and I blacked out. I then began to have sleep paralysis often in which I'd become fearful, dizzy and hallucinate (often resulting in lucid dreams).

I've discovered that sometimes my eyes are still partially open and i have to close them to project and I'll be able to see with my third eye. It's easier to project though if your physical eyes have never accidently opened when in sleep paralysis. I did this one morning and I did an ethreal projection, which was similar to my first OBE, only this time I did it half-way because I was trying to look at my ethreal hands and they were invisible. I felt as if I actually sat upright on my bed and I tried to touch my cheek with my invisible hand and actually felt it! A bug then bit my physical hand and woke me up after that. My arm seems to be the easiest to project because later on, i've been doing that often accidently. Once I tried getting up though, and my arms felt tied down though (everything looked so vivid! I wasn't even wearing my glasses!). There are times when I'm really stuck in sleep paralysis and I seem to jump out for a few second then I'm back in. There was a really funny time though when I decide to project with my eyes closed and imagine that i'm flying, but instead of seeing through my eyes closed and having an OBE, I end up hallucinating up a whole lucid dream! lolz That was one of my most memorable transitions from sleep paralysis to lucid dreaming.

I 've also had false awakenings in which I would dream that I get up from bed and walk out of my room. I left my room so fast that I didn't even remember the actual exit, if it was even an OBE, so I'm thinking it probbably was a lucid dream. It seemed to have been a real time projection because it was night time, but the light was on in the livingroom (i don't think it was one before I went to bed).
