Hey there! Im sort of new to this Astral travel experience, but have a few questions for y'all.

1. Is Astral Travel really your spirit or soul leaving your body and traveling?
2. Can you go anywhere you want, say, another planet?
3. Are there any dangers with doing it?

Excuse my n00bness, haha.

Thanks!

Hola intrepido.

Quote1. Is Astral Travel really your spirit or soul leaving your body and traveling?
Depends on who you ask.  Some people call OBE and Astral Travel different things, but IMO they are gradations of the same thing.  And, the way I see it, it's not your soul, or spirit, or lifeforce or nothing like that- it's your point-of view, your conscious awareness, that finds a way to experience or perceive whatever is happening in a location that is not your body.  Also, you don't leave your body empty, simply expand that part of your energy body to encompass wherever it's at, but this always includes your body, and all kinds of interesting effects can happen, like bilocation.  Or the perception of such.
Quote2. Can you go anywhere you want, s :wink:ay, another planet?
Some of us has had the experience of going to another planet.  However, that doesn't mean we actually went there.  My opinion is that we are extending our perception to an energetic medium that is either part of the physical universe, or created by the subconscious.  Validations for this are not so easy to come by, so I couldn't tell you which is true.
Quote3. Are there any dangers with doing it?
Only the danger that comes from experiencing some really far out and scary stuff, which can happen eventually.  Expanded awareness is not for everyone if they're not ready.  But if you are a stable person, I'd say yes.
