It constantly amazes me the lucid ap state. When it's not fully engaged things are murky and unclear and if you completely let go you wake up or go into the dream state. But when it's truly engaged to it's fullest we can see how precious this state is we are experiencing.

Full lucidity is a state of rapture where the astral is layed out completely before you. And it's colors! I've never seen a blue sky more blue than in the astral. Things are crisp and clear and lighted from within and without. One time someone gave me a cigarette in the astral when I was fully lucid like this and it was the most real and enjoyable cig I've ever had.

This gives me hope that after death this state is the natural state because it would mean that there really is a life after death.   :-o

Yeah, some say it can become even 'more real' than the physical.

Hi

You make me smile. Sometimes when in the astral I just stand their and look at the colours. The sky, the grass, the water, trees. The colours are truly amazing. Pshyical life I don't think cant even replicate the vibrantness of the colours that we see.

I can't prove that life exsistes after pshyical death. But , I have many times when Lucid, when OBE land, run into a dead parent. I look at them and say"Arn't you dead"? They just smile and say "no". So next time you obe asked people that you see. If they are dead. The answer will be "no". Just dead psycially.. on this earthly plane. I look at death and the after life as a graduation from this life..a advancement..

I also wonder what my next life will be like..if it is anything like the astral... Lucid ain't ever leaving if it is..LOL

Lucid.

My theory on the whole "more real" thing is because when we're projecting, we're physical, we experience this reality through the filters of our human existence.
When we project, we lose that "human existence" filter and begin to experience through the purity of consciousness.

There's two things going on...
1.  It's a filter which most people don't consciously have much experience with.
and 2.  Comparing it to our physical reality human filter, it's much less and more crystal clear.

If you compare physical to the non-physical like looking through a window... this physical reality human filter is like looking through a dirty window, while our consciousness filter is more like a crystal clear window.  Looks so much 'better'.

Make sense?

As for the experience... yeah, I've been known to just get down into the dirt and feel around.  So satisfying.

The problem comes when "normal" people without any knowledge try to grasp this that what is the non-physical and what it means "more" real than the physical. I've got many discussions personally with people about this and they are totally lost what is the physical world about. Also about that dreams are not really "dreams" lol. Well I guess some of us had easier path to understand this than the vast majority.

I've seen so many and nice "places", planets, plains of big nice green grass, turquoise sky, wind, eating delicious stuffs, not to mention superhuman powers with anything, walking in Focus 3 cities, places... I guess the physical life - if we tend to become interested in the NP - gives the chance to experience this beauty and realness what is going on "there".

How do we explain normal people that there are not even endlessly other worlds than this world but that they are so otherwordly what people can't even imagine. Months ago for example I was on a planet with nice grassy plains and tiny hills, mountains in the distance and the whole sky was full of greenish-yellowish-blueish aurora, the whole sky. Is it real? :)

Is it real? It sure feels like it doesn't it though?

I had an experience recently that also took me to another planet. The cool thing was that it was an organized expedition for me. I had a group of 4 beings (who looked semi-human) give me a tour of their planet. I wish I could remember everything but they showed me parts of their domestic life family and such, the parts of their city with beautiful buildings, and then I visited with a group of their children who talked to me about the animals they had. It was cool cuz like it was organized and I was lucid touring another world.

Thanks for the tip Lucidityman... I will ask my dead father if he's dead next time I see him. Something interesting you may want to try is asking people "Are you real?" Many times the answer was actually NO. Which surprised me. I found a crowd of people and asked the astral gods to show me only real beings and like 90% of the crowd just vanished. So I think people you meet in the astral may not be real. They may be phantoms or dream entities.

That's interesting Xanth. Will have to think about that one. My favorite thing about being super lucid is that it keeps turning into something else like going up an elevator.

Nameless

Enjoyed this discussion. It is so much more real than real and it's not just what you see. It's what you feel, even breathing makes that simple task here seem wholly inefficient. And the mind expansion. I've been so many places that would take your breath away.
