I have not had such a contact with a higher entity, but this is what I have concluded. Both free will and fate are true because time is not exactly linear. We are just experiencing time in a linear fashion. Time on some level exists all at once. Everything has already happened. That does not mean that we do not have free will. We have already made our choices with free will, but those choices have already played out. We just have yet to experience them in a linear time line, if that makes sense. It is hard to put into words but this is how I see it.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

There's a great line from a recent popular movie "No fate, except that which we make". There exists a state of awareness called the Now, or the Moment. In the Moment all futures are possible, when you make your choices, you flow into those choices. If you can understand your choices and know their origin, then you can master your own fate and karma. It's a fantastic system, it enables unlimited variety of experiences.

fallnangel77, I agree that the choices were all made simultaneously (because all time exists simultaneously), but that doesnt mean "free will" was used to make the choices.

Hey-
In all of your astral experiences has anyone out there either contacted a higher power or witnessed enlightenment/revelations in some form that would lead them to beleive that humans have a fated life planned out for them or are our decisions based upon free will?

This has always been perplexing to me and I just can't figure it out so I was thinking maybe someone has contacted a higher power that does have it figured out?
