Hello,

i have had only 2 astral projection in my life. i was a kid about 12 years old laying in my bed thinking about my day. after that i decide to imagine my self going to sleep and after 30 mins or so i imagined my self leap out of bed and i was suddenly on the ground... thinking how did i get down here so i kept calling for my mom about 4 times very loud and she didnt come so i was freaking out. i did see some dark shapes in my closet but i really didnt pay attention to that. so after that i looked at my bed i zapped back into my body.

The second experience i had didnt last to long, but here it is. i was having a lucid dream at night. i didnt have the covers on. so i was dreaming i was in a dark and hellish place. i met this demon and then i suddenly saw my self falling into this dark deep hole and right after that happened i tried to move my body but it didnt work i paniced a little and since it was not working i tryied to imagine opening my eyes and i saw the thing on top of me at this point i was panicing like crazy because it looked like he was doing something. so after the 2 seconds i opened my eyes and was in my body and i swear i almost sh** my pants.

my questions are why cant i astral projected?
do i have to focus on a body part and wait for it to happen or something???
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

The fact that you say you already have is a step farther than most. I have always heard it is easier after the first time of getting out.. I think now you need to just learn to relax and use one of the many techniques of getting back out intentionally. I recommend Robert Bruce's books and also Robert Monroe's... any of them that relate to teaching you how to astrally project.. or just look online there are alot of resources.

Ya, you need to learn more about these techniques and do practice.

I too have that problem with falling asleep and used to be more successful when younger. I starting to try again though... I used to have alot of luck with hypnosis that I recorded on a tape recorder and played back. For some reason, it just helps me relax more when somebody else it telling me too lol. Good luck

Today, when i went to lay down i decided to astral project. as i was laying there i felt this tingling and my breaths became shorter. if i focused on my breathing long enough i would break my trance so i just imagined my self as i were watching TV. aftetr 2 hours i could not feel my feet and hands plus my chest was getting a little deeper when i focused on it for 3 seconds... Am i getting close/???? anyway the tingling gets so intence in my hands that i can almost feel them fliped over, but they where faced down i cant describe it.. so do i just focuse on getting out like standing up or floating? swaying in a motion???
