Okay. Projected out, was extreemly depressed. Seemed to be dreaming and projecting at the same time.

Things looked shifty and surreal; but noticed if I focused hard I could chase away the dream part, and see things as they were in real life.

Started calling for my guides, and as usual, none appeared. Then decided I would try announcing my name so they would know who was calling.

A snakey tube, which looked very similar to a live nerve ending appeared. It was about the thickness of ones arm. It seemed to be made of energy, and was translucent.

It snaked right up to me. In the center there was energy pooling around. I felt the inclination to dive down the tube/nerve. Like it was a portal. But I did not know where it would take me. I leaned in, hesitated, then pulled back.

I feel like Alice in Wonderland who opted not to go down the rabbit hole.

Later, back in my body, I was discussing this with a friend. This has happened to me before, where I was presented with a portal or door, and then didn't go through.

She said she was glad I didn't go, because "You might not be here to talk to me now!"

I suggested that I think I'm supposed to go through these doors...I just don't know what's waiting on the other side.

At that moment in the conversation, there was a noise at the door, I jerked my head up to see who was there, unbelievably, the front door of my apartment pushed wide open as I watched in shock. Of course, no one was there.

I freaked. So did my friend. I told her I took it as a sign that I am supposed to walk through these doors, and next time I would.

My friend couldn't get over what had just happened and kept babbling on about it. I told her it was just another day in the life of Leyla, and I was learning to "just go with it" and pretend like it's normal.
