Title: Astral Plane and Dark Matter/Energy
Post by: Edward on September 18, 2014, 07:44:46
Do you think there is any connection between the dark matter/energy of the universe and the astral plane? No one knows what dark energy and matter is. We know it has a gravitational force, but then we don't know what gravity is. I was wondering what y'alls thoughts on that are?

It's all consciousness.
It's all you... me... everything.

We don't really know what dark matter is if it exists at all. It's theoretical at this point. It is worth exploring astrally. As Xanth said everything is connected and that by consciousness. But exploring different parts of that is what it means to be alive.

It's all connected, it's different but it makes a whole.
The only thing that I found that actually is relevant is this short animation
iwantmoar.com/2975

we're as small as an atom, yet as big as the universe itself.
Energy is everywhere, Dark matter or the in-between everything just keeps everything together in my opinion

The universe is infinite.

We... don't know what gravity is?????????
Dark matter is detected by looking at the footprints it leaves in space, just like black holes.

No...we don't know what gravity is. What I have read over the last several years, it is the most observable, yet least understandable of the four basic fundamental universal forces.

We haven't defined it as a wave property, nor as a particle, nor as an exchange of forces or particles. It affects everything in the Universe; it is the weakest of the Forces, yet the most far-reaching, and still we don't understand how it manifests.

Like EscapeVelocity says, we don't know what gravity is. There are many different theories of gravity. It's like consciousness; we don't really know what it is, either. We know it exists, but we don't know what it is or why it is. Same with dark matter: it leaves its footprints, but we don't have a clue what it is.

I wonder if we'll know these things any better from the astral plane. You know, I'm a big believer in God, but I think when I die and enter the astral realm, the proof of God will even be less than it is in the physical world.

Maybe that's because it's like Xanth implies, it is all one monistic whole.

We know what gravity is, what we don't know is what act as a plane for gravity.

The bigger the mass the bigger the bend in the plane, the more things it attracts. Until the mass is to big and it pierce a hole in the plane and becomes a black hole.
Not everything has to be explained scientifically to understand what it means.
It could be empty space between planets for all we know.
Scientifically the human race is not advanced.
Sure we're very very progressive right now and we're advancing fast, but finding a mathematical definition of everything is like asking god to teach you everything he knows.

I had a dream once (a very long long time ago), back when I didn't know what was astral projecting and lucid dreaming.
I was sitting there talking to god and I was ticked at him and we were arguing and I end up saying like: -Oh yeah then show me theses formulas.
Then I see this big translucent wall forming up with formulas starting to be written on it in a yellow glow.
He shows me like billions of formulas and the more I try to look at it the smaller the formulas get and the more there is.
I think it was a way to tell me that a man shouldn't seek the meaning of life in formulas but just to trust his instincts.
I think one of the best thing in our world is Logic itself.
Logic doesn't require math formulas.
Yet it can go very very deep with just simple words or examples.

The argument about gravity can go on, as well arguments about the other forces.

For our discussions, the argument remains more closely aligned with understanding and defining individual experience within NPR experiences; those within local boundaries and those beyond.

What are you experiencing within these broadly defined boundaries? That's the fun stuff...

Electric, magnetic and gravitic forces are all in quadrature.
Passing 20amps through a steel ball can alter gravity the same. Many alternating layers of dielectric and bismuth sandwiched with a very high voltage across them does too.
Read up on T.T.Brown for more if it interests you.
There's more out there that you may find hard to find. The works of Floyd Sweet for example and others.
All suppressed for good reasons.

Pseudo-knowledge... we all THINK we know what gravity is, but as with "dreams"... science really doesn't know what's going on under the hood.

People really need to learn to discern what is KNOWLEDGE (what is TRULY known) and what is PSEUDO-KNOWLEDGE (what we THINK we know).

That's a very cool dream. I really like that. And if we are supposed to live an eternal life, the life we live here on the earth would seem very constricted in what we can know about things.

I think that is so true. And I guess as I get ready to turn 50 next week, I've come to a really big place in my life: I'm okay with saying I don't understand something.

I no longer feel like I have to know the truth about things that no one understands. I mean like when it comes to God for me, I'm okay with saying I think He exists, but I don't think I am capable of comprehending what He is.

When it comes to consciousness, I'm okay with saying I think everything is a monistic whole with the illusion of duality. I don't have to understand how that paradox works.

And when it comes to whether I will exist after I die, I'm okay with it going either way. After all, we are constantly changing and so what we are is constantly dying. That little unchanging observer in my head that watches the rest of me think, that thing I consider to be the "self" that I'm pretty sure isn't dependent on my living body, I don't know what it is or understand it any better than I do God or consciousness--or gravity or dark energy for that matter.

I just don't have all the answers, and I can't go around fooling myself or trying to fool others that I do, and that's a big personal growth step for me.

Yup!  Exactly.  Sometimes, the most enlightened thing we can say is simply:  I do not know.

Also, from what you've said above... you've got a great base from which to work from.  :)

Thank you for saying. I've had some very strange OBEs (probably quite common, but strange to me). I'm looking forward to learning more about  how to induce them. I need to take some time to really peruse this forum.
