What are your answers to these questions and what is the purpose for your inquiry?
My reason for this is just to gather information, to find the general basis that people have gotten.
My reasoning is to go to the next stage in all metaphysical we need to be guided by questions, simple or complex. Because questions always lead to more questions.
First the questions and results before we can all organize research on the right points and by "We" I mean all communities or groups that would want to since I plan on organizing the info and having it public.
This is my attempt at Renaissance.
I'm trying not to be mysterious or anything, so you guys don't think I'm writing yet another book in this arising industry of marketing OBEs Astral Projections.
I'm doing this because I am not satisfied of where we are at now, and I am positive many aren't either.
Ok, so what's your answers to these questions? I ask this for a reason. :-)
1. What is astral projection to you?
To me, astral projection is when our consciousness that is mainly within our physical body gets transferred to our astral body. Due to this not being something that happens often(at least not consciously in most cases), it gets hard to remember unless you go in trying to achieve an astral projection.
2. How long did it take you to achieve a conscious one?
I have yet to come out consciously, usually I wake up, but realize how everything feels different, not like a fake feel, but the feeling of something very real, like more conscious than my already trained Lucid Dreams, I tried to go places to verify that it was an astral projection, but traveling was different, like I was flying, but it seemed like it was through different things, dimensions/planes.
3. What do you believe is the difference between dreams and astral projections?
I believe that dreams are in your mind, either of different dimensions/memories/or fully made up, the difference being that your consciousness is in your astral body.
4. What are the reasons for people having difficulty achieving a conscious astral projection?
Most don't remember the feelings and processes to moving your consciousness from your physical body to your astral one without going to sleep.
Plus insecurities, and unbalance in life.
If you have lots of issues in the physical, worries, stress, a lot on your mind and just most of your thoughts being focused on the physical, it all adds up and anchors your focus to your physical body.
So you literally are not ready for astral projection in most moments, that is why meditation is key.
5. Why should people learn to astral project?
No one SHOULD learn to astral project, but it is very empowering and sobering experience with many paths of great learning and self knowledge.
6. What is your most memorable experience?
This happened seconds before astral projection, I was having vibrations all along my body, spine and everything and suddenly I vividly see some very frightening creature coming at me very fiercely and it just shocks me and I lose it.
7. What are some benefits?
I'd say confidence, broad learning, and general better Energy and astral body control.
8. What are some dangers?
Some very powerful entity taking possession of your body, but due to the natural defenses it should be incredibly hard, so if it could do that, then it could do it while you are not participating in an astral projection, so the dangers are always the same.
9. What impact would astral projection have on the general populace, the world?
It would give people power over their life and ways to validate what they are being told is truth or not.
It would make us better people, because we would learn that we have a purpose for this life and that the learning adds up, so people would try to be better, in the early stages people won't be able to handle the information and harm many, some would think it nullifies their religion when it in fact won't.
It would be the worlds new path to peace.

O: I thought you already had my email! You jerk.
I believe your definition of astral projection is the out of body experience, so I will replace AP with OBE to avoid confusion in my answers.
1) OBE is when a portion of the energy body leaves the physical body by the way of an opening or web in the energetic framework of the physical body.
2) It took me 1 month to achieve back in the year 2000. I had vibrations during that month before I had my first successful OBE.
3) Dreams are pre-OBE experiences that do not have the characteristic of my #1 answer above.
4) They rely too much on the physical or non-physical visual sense. And they are too passive in their OBE techniques. Success in conscious OBE's may happen with a more active OBE technique and relying more on their motion sense to feel yourself slipping out of body.
5) People may benefit from OBE's so they can learn to have awareness and control when the death experience happens.
6) My most memorable experience is this one. On 07/13/12 at 12:30 am, my girlfriend had another experience with me being out of body. I felt myself slip out of body, and I consciously hovered a couple of feet above my body. I did this for two minutes while holding this position. I then entered back into my body and my physical body jolted.
While out of my body, I saw my girlfriend next to me with an expression of awe.
When I re-entered my body, she asked me if I was out of body. I said yes. She said she knew because she felt a dense energy on top of her legs that remained there for two minutes. And she saw my physical body jolt shortly after.
This OBE was amazing because we both had the experience in the exact same time frame with the same description of the experience. She had the experience from the physical plane, and I had the experience from the real time zone.
7) My answer would be #5 above.
8 ) A temporary loss of energy afterwards and dizziness are some possible minor dangers.
9) It would help the world understand there is an energy plane that interacts with the physical plane.
10) I will send you my email.
What are your answers for these Lionheart?

This is non-sense... There are no dangers like this.. Only your own fear.

This is only his personal opinion! Everyone is entitled to their own views.

Ones truth is not everyone's truth :)
Just like many that would say that Astral Projection is non-sense, they say because they either don't know/believe or haven't experienced it.
I've encountered entities with the potential, but they tend not to care. You could be right, but wouldn't mean I'm wrong ;)

There is always a danger. About the same as real life, like walking across the street, someone could lose control and hit you with their car. Though, we would never know if an entity could overwhelm your bodies natural defenses because even if such an event happen, the person would not be around to tell the story.
Hi,
I've been travelling the multiverse for around 50 years and no ghost has run me over...lol
Ive been shot decapitated eaten blown up set on fire torn apart stabbed drilled in the face.............................
I guess it depends where you work
:NoY:
Yeah thats the fun of it. My earliest, I was 6 and got machinegunned by a ww2 aircraft. It wasn't fun back then.
Now its all fun. I can create any scenario and they usually last for ages when the times right.
Intent and lots of it.
Shame about the ghost not even trying to run me over though. Lol.

WOW 50 YEARS of Astral Projection??? That's amazing! I think you are probably one of the people who have been doing it the longest that I have ever heard of then, considering alot of people that are considered the experts have been doing it for about 35 years on average or so.
Hi.
Its no big deal. I've had the fear thing as a kid for a few years. I eventually challenged it head on and then realised the thoughts=action thing. Working this out gave me the control I needed. Back then nothing existed communication wise generally. Colour TV wasnt around and packet switch stream was unheard of. No internet whatsoever. Imagine that today...
You were totally alone.
I'll get round to this survey when time allows, it could be entertaining finding the relevant answers.

I know what you mean.. sorta.. when I was a kid and first started reading about AP and lucid dreaming.. it was the late 80s/early 90s and there was no internet then either... I think it was there in a certain form, just not anything usable or accessible to the general public until a little later. I went to the library and found my first book on AP, the later I remember I ordered a VHS tape about it which was basically just a recorded conference somewhere. I have been interested in AP and reading alot about it for a long time but just haven't gotten serious about trying again until recently.. I kind of gave up when I was a kid out of frustration and not really knowing how to overcome things like now. :)
