Alright, everyone. I have been here for a while thinking of what to write... As some of you may or may not know, I've never experienced an OBE. I've only had a handful of lucid dreams when I was a young child. Since then, I've been overwhelmed by the physical world and emotions. I was wondering... Should I just... Let it all go? I mean...Gah I'm speaking foolishly. I mean, do I have your encouragement to forget about the past, and clear my mind and let energy flow through me, etc, and eventually have an obe? I know, it's obvious that I should... but for some reason the last thread connecting me to pain is the one that needs others' encouragement to break. Ya know... That kinda thing. :-D
Please respond with anything helpful and/or constructive, etc.

There's a difference between permission and encouragement.
And, if it hasn't occurred to you yet, I'm a person of low self-esteem. Furthermore, I am asking for a slight encouragement to boost myself.

The second thing you need to do is figure out your self-esteem problem.
It's a fear based belief... and it will manifest in full technicolour 3D when you project.

Xanth has the right idea here, honestly. You don't need encouragement or "approval" from anyone.. this is a mentality that took me many hard lessons to adopt but you can have it for free. Find your inner warrior and pull the encouragement out of yourself.. if you wait around looking for approval you won't accomplish a fraction of what your potential would allow on this planet.
I realize this, friend. Twas a human moment of sheer confusion. I've been gaining a sense of control lately, which leads me to believe that I'm making progress. :-D
