Regarding your experience, It looks like you took a tour of various astral realms as you slept. It may well be the case that those individuals you met may have assumed that you were one of them, hense the odd statements and giving you a crystal to give to 'Michael in the warehouse'(!) and so on. I have heard that visitors to astral realms can often be mistaken for 'one of them' and are sometimes suprised when you do something odd or what they think is out of character. Keep up the good work... see if you can get back there again!
Regarding AP vs Lucid dreaming:
people get hung up on 'dreams', 'lucid dreams' and 'AP', but IMO they are all the same thing; they are all astral experiences, the only differnce is the level of your conscious awareness:
From dream level (almost none) to AP (full awareness). LD is somewhere inbetween. In effect however, everyone has an astral experience every night! However, they pass it off as 'just a dream'. If only they new what that was!
IMO, A dream is an astral experience where your immediate astral enviroment is generated by your subconscious and you act out a scenario. If you become lucid, you realise this and have an opportunity to escape into the astral proper!

I had a very similliar one involving a mountain, which was the most solid "dream" I've ever had. The colours where so vibrant, buzzing with pure pinks and greens reflected from the snow. It was a guide who brought me there, a beautiful woman by the name of Urla.
Orange crystals are beneficial for your Sacral chakra. One should come to you, or at the first opportunity purchase one. And a purple on too. Amythest for the higher chakras of the mind.
Citrine is a natural orange, golden stone, moving to yellow in different varieties.
Amythest can be heated to change its properties into that of Citrine. The purple becomes orange. (By this method Amythest can also become Smoky Quartz.)
Set in A transluscent stone. Quartz of course. Maybe Calcite, or Apophyllite, both can give access to higher energies, and aid in astral travel. Go with your intuition.
For me, the temple would represent my mind and the staircase my spine. But that's just the way I look at things.

I awoke very early, and decided to try a technique that I came up with that involves first thouroughly relaxing the body,then expanding and contracting my awareness,from awareness of the room out side my body, contracting to a tiny pinpoint of inner awareness,and back again.Each time I would reach maximum contraction,then expand,I would be a little deeper into trance.
I must have fallen asleep at some point, as I was suddenly in a lucid dream in a library (not surprising, since the library is where I type these posts/threads).
I became bored of the lucid dream,so I jumped out of a window and flew straight up into the sky of the dreamscape.my vision,but not my awareness blacked out for some reason,but as I went higher,my vision suddenly came back 'online'.I was high above a mountain range,presumably in the astral somewhere,'cuase nothing changed when I gazed at it (unlike in a dream).I looked all around and gasped at the shining,green beauty of the forested mountains far below,though the peaks of the mountains were about at my height.I decided to keep flying higher,passing many,many barriers of light.there's probably some stuff here that I forget.
eventually,I came to a building on a mountain,w/a valley stretching far below.at the bottom of the valley was a barrier of light.I went inside,and there were chairs everywhere,like a waiting room,only no-one was there.I looked around,and noticed that the walls were partly made of a thick,black,semi-soft 'stuff',that was separated by stone at regular intervals.since there wasn't anyone there,I went down a hallway,noticing how SOLID everything seemed to be.the hallway eventually led to a door that had the security of a bank vault.it wasn't locked (!), so I opened it,hoping someone would come out that I could talk to,to see where I was.
then 2 people came out.It seemed that one ranking higher than the other.I went outside w/the higher ranking one.we looked down at the valley and talked.I said I came from a world down there,beyond the barrier.he seemed somewhat surprised at this,as he said "you mean,from a world down there?!".there was a purple car next to us (!).I showed him how I could make things solid when I wanted, and pass through things when I wanted.I asked him if there was anything I could do to enhance my astral travels,and make them easier.he said, "don't wear any clothes".the thought of going around the astral plane naked,and 'just hangin' out'[;)]was really embarrasing.looking back on what he said,he could have been referring to my human body form,which presumably,takes energy to sustain,even unconciously,remembering that I'm actually a ball of light would free up that energy.
the 2nd man came out of the building.he gave me a gift of an orange crystal,set in translucent stone.he said "you might need it when you work in the warehouse with michael"(that hasn't happened yet!).I said thank you,and flew back into the valley,towards the barrier,clutching the crystal.
I flew back down the light barriers (worlds?),looking for the library I left origionally.I came to one,thinking it was the right one,so I flew into a window.it wasn't the right one,I realized,and in my haste to get out, ran into someone carrying books.I said sorry, he was very freindly and understanding.I lept out the window and continued down through the barriers.the crystal began to change from deep orange to deep purple.
I then came to a beautiful realm.it was bright and sunny,and there was a field of grass and wildflowers,surrounded by woodland.a small temple was in the centre of the field.it had a long staircase leading up to it.I walked up the stairs and went inside.in the middle of the room was a huge version of the now totally purple crystal I was holding! there were 2 women arguing in the room, and one woman was standing at the side,watching the whole thing without much concern.I felt my power waning and I began to feel more aware of my physical body.I awoke clutching the purple crystal,set in tranlucent stone,hoping it would be there when I awoke.It wasn't.oh well...
phew!! what a type-fest (and a read-fest!).my arms are tired.any comments? I would like some actually-especially about the crystal and the temple (or any questions,comments otherwise)...
