astral wind experience and a warning

This morning, I became lucid and found myself being dragged backwards deep into an astral territory. I truly felt like I was being kidnapped as an entity had wrapped their arms around me and I could feel their liquid balloon-like body.  I went along with it knowing that I was completely safe although I suspected I would be taken to someone's lair, perhaps an "evil" mastermind. When I finally stopped, I was in front of a middle-aged man with a mustache. He started by quoting what seemed like a constitution or historical document.

He then proceeded to tell me that in two days there *could* be "an announcement" that would shake the world.

I asked what I could do about it to protect myself. He said I won't be alone in asking those questions. Something about affecting markets, etc. but no details on what this event or announcement would be. I then continued to move backwards but I couldn't sense someone grabbing me anymore. I usually call this effect the "astral wind" or "astral pulse" since it seems akin to the original definition.

BTW, has anybody had any astral pulse/wind experiences recently. I wonder if they happen at the same time, or whether they are more personally timed.

Very interesting!  Whenever I fly through space and then I decide to stop moving forward (I stop cuz I get scared of going to far out) I automatically start moving backward.  I get sucked backward until I get back to earth.  I'm not sure if this is the effect your talking about or not.  If so, it seems more like an individually timed thing to me.

Mendel

That's interesting that you get pulled back to Earth. No, for me it's pulled backwards and away into distant lands or times. Either way, though, its an involuntary thing, someone else is pulling the strings.

This feeling is typical on entering a vortex. You get to travel at what feels like 200 mph. The tactile feelings can be prevented with a thought and although it's nothing to fear the wrapped up feeling goes away after a few journeys. Some are inside a tunnel of light while others have resembled stars and on occasion pure blackness.
There's always a good experience at the end.
These are more likely a personal thing.
Did you ask for a particular experience?
It may be something on your subconcious mind if not.
It's a great memory workout, you often learn something too.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Mendel

This particular experience was different than normal being grabbed by someone else. Normally the wind is just that - an invisible/non-latching force. I actually felt the approach and someone latching onto me, like they were ready and waiting to grab me when the time was right. Usually, I'm the one who grabs one or two people for retrievals. I wonder if I come across with the same doughy consistency :)

In my experience, I've found this "astral wind" to be directly related to a loss of focus.
The reduced focus allows the mind to accidentally shift from idea to idea... hence taking you to new places to experience new things.
It manifests, usually, as this gentle (or even violent) pulling or blowing... which is then interpreted by the experiencer as a kind of wind.

But it's all internally created and manifested.  To reduce the chances of this happening (if you want to reduce it, that is lol) you need to make sure you're grounded and centered while projecting.  Emotionally & mentally balanced.

Mendel

I see the astral wind as a phenomenon that occurs quite rarely, maybe once or twice a year, and you might miss it if you're not lucid at that time. For me, it's been about past lives and karmic turning points much like Robert Bruce's accounts. But I can see how they might be interpreted in different ways.

Last night I slept very early at 7pm and woke up at 1 am in the morning.
I felt sufficiently rested, so I surfed the internet for the next 5 hours.
The morning sun light peeked through the curtains, so I decided to go to sleep.
I made an affirmation to experience the light.

After several minutes I phased to a classroom scene.
Dark blue carpet, white walls, and students in the room.
I experienced a younger version of me in a physical body.
Each student was paired off. Our task was to select an appropriate title for the story
[that we had already written?] then discuss it with our friend.
Next the [lady] teacher selected a pair of students to present their stories.
By then my attention was drifting.

I reminded myself "this is a lucid dream" and I did not have to stay for the presentation.
Part of my conscience insisted I had to stay with the task, else I will be letting my partner down.
Once again I reminded myself that this is a lucid dream, that I can decide whatever I want.
Then I perceived a transparent copy of my body sitting on the floor separate, lift and fly upwards.

I decided to experience the light, and the void.
Immediately I experience a swirling vortex. No black hole in centre.
This vortex is unusual as it is a red spinning tunnel of light.
My body awareness was limited to only perceiving my hands in front of me and my face.
The light body I experienced was nebulous, without any distinct boundaries between body and spinning vortex.
A red-crimson light permeated my mental space.

I surrendered myself to the red-crimson light and proclaimed that "I am happy"  :-D.
An overwhelming feeling of euphoria swept over me, my face felt flattened
[no pain, only an astral wind-like firm pressure] by the blast of light-bliss.
This state of elation remained for perhaps a few minutes, but it felt longer.

Then I came to the pitch-black void.
I experienced the [familiar] state of  "I am" :
no body awareness, nothingness, just the absolute clarity of my own awareness
of self and thoughts. I am life!

After a few minutes of this I lost remembrance.

First off dreamingod, great depiction of that vortex. I call this one the red Tornado and I have been seeing it quite a bit lately!

You have fantastic control over your Lucid Dreams, I'm sure it has taken you quite a bit of practice too gain the level of control you have.  8-)

See people, this is what happens when you really work towards your goal and you learn everything you can about this practice. In a way, you become akin to sponge, just soaking in all the knowledge you can on the this practice.

Then comes the fun part when you can do what dreamingod is doing here.

The only thing I think is unfair sometimes, is when I "click out" just as things are getting really good. Sometimes it just overwhelms the mind so much, that you just lose consciousness again.

I know myself personally, the one thing I have been working on is to become consciously aware earlier in the Dream scenario, so that I have plenty of time to begin "grounding" myself there. So I can prolong the entire "adventure" and this is exactly what it is. It's a nightly adventure. Not always a positive one, you could be living a traumatic time in your life, you could be reliving your childhood or sometimes it's not even you. These ones are really bizarre.

You always feel the "astral wind", as Mendel has called it, while entering or exiting a Vortex/Tornado, whatever you wish to call it. It just wisks you away!

Much different then just going through a doorway or crossing a bridge, etc.

This is the only medium sized image available on Google Image search that I can find
which closely resembles the crimson vortex. I did not perceive any black hole centre,
just different hues of crimson-red.

I have experienced spinning vortices before and can expect a stargate experience.
My vortex experiences vary in colour and the extent of 'astral wind' & centripetal force.
My first vortex experience was made of a multitude of colourful fine vibrating strings of light.
Many experiences were of black-dark grey vortices. Drawn into a mirror can have the same effect.
Once I was not in the vortex, but approached [disembodied] a white spinning vortex made of
personality-voice-data stream. Where I directed my attention, I experienced an blasting
astral-wind mind vortex filled with the thought propensity of many personality data-streams.

I likened a vortex to a kind of tunnel vision experience.
One is fully immersed in the experience  :-D

I can definitely relate to that  :-D

There have been only two of times when I have experienced awesome trips,
then phased back fully aware to my main focus PMR with my eyes opened.
This includes my first OOBE experience with dual consciousness.

I seem to be more alert, have better recall and great astral/alternate reality adventures
when I feel rested and am not interrupted when I wake up.
Since I have young children I tend to have great memorable trips once a week or so.

I have not yet developed good control over prolonging my experiences.
Like my "Phasing red vortex, astral wind & euphoria to the void" experience,
when I am lucid enough I can override the "silent" narrator and direct my "play" in mind.

School-Test Theme:
A decade ago I kept on having recurring dreams about going back to school:
1. Preschool
2. Primary school
3. Highschool
4. University
I would find myself sitting for a test, feeling quite anxious that I have not
prepared myself sufficiently as I cannot remember studying. No causality.

Then after the second or third recurring dream (of each event), I would remember that I have completed:
preschool, primary school, highschool & university.

These recurring dreams exploring the "School Test" theme ceased when I remembered that
I have completed my formal education.

However two years ago I experienced University again, but the theme of the dreams
explored the idea that I have graduated and am attaining inner knowledge.
[PMR] Found myself in a spacious University scene, greenery & trees, some students about,
I passed a library building, glass tinted door, and my field of vision zoomed into a "library" sign.
In the middle of the scene was a concrete rectangular entry going deep down below.
Twenty steps I counted. I decided to investigate. I jumped from the ground level down.
When I landed I felt amazed that I could jump that far [looked like two storeys down]
and land so softly. I perceived a large pyramid illuminated by soft golden light.
The adjacent wall displayed a glass display showcasing trophies and awards.
Before I checked out, I remembered feeling a sense of awe.

I've had lucid dreams of pyramids before.
These ususually give me feedback about the extent of my awareness of the inner self,
and the degree of liberation I attain relative to the reality I am experiencing.

I love the astral wind vortex experience  :-D

I have also experienced a type of torrent-water current experience.
The direction of the push and pull, -more pull changes direction
as per the velocity of the current.

Recently the gyrating shapes appear within 10 seconds of starting to phase then dissapear. They get my passive attention and dissapear before I can move my thoughts towards increasing them to a vortex.
I must have something to do first. One in particular was very red, no hole either and it appeared last week for a second or so.
I noticed the fact that something was keeping me away for whatever reason so cut the phase for sleep.
My hope was for another big retrieval but expectation is a bad move. Since then dreams are not being recalled much at all.
If I find any lucidity and work on it I wake up.
These vortex experiences are always wonderful and teach things you need to know. Being shown them and given no chance to work with them is strange.
Has anyone been put in this predicament and if so what cleared the way forward? Im stumped by this.

A couple of weeks ago I overheard a neighbor that had come over to loan us his riding lawnmower, telling MJ about his NDE a couple of years ago.

Actually he had 3 of them within a 3 month period. He had severe liver failure and needed a transplant. But, the new liver wasn't accepted properly by his body.

He died 3 times on the operating table during his operations. He was reported to be clinically dead/brain dead.

The first time he went into the hospital for treatment, he fell into a month and half coma.

I had just awoken in the morning, came into the kitchen for my morning coffee and heard Randy and MJ talking outdoors. I couldn't believe my ears!

He was talking about being in a torrent water current/tunnel scenario with tons of other people. For some reason he thought their destination was China, lol. I have never experienced this "rapid water current" in any of my Phase sessions or LD's.

I shall talk to him soon and when I do I wish to get his permission to write more about his NDE experiences.

I asked MJ more about it, but she just nonchalantly answered with very small details. She doesn't quite realize the level of my passion in this field.

Oh well! To be continued ...................
