Hi there reality !

This is a tricky one, because there are several possible scenarios :
1) you physically went to turn off the light, but it wasn't working.
2) you projected, but did not have your sense of vision - hence everything appeared dark.
3) you projected and you were able to see, but you could not see through the darkness.

OBE's vary, from crystal clear sight, to blurry hazy vision, to no sight at all....but they all have one thing in common : The clear sense that you are concious and not inside your physical body.

Hey, and thanks for responding.

It most definetly wasn't 1, because shortly after the shock of the lightswitch not working(heh i probably pressed right through it) I got zapped back into bed.

Reality

In the middle of the night I was having this dream, not really a dream, more blackness and vague images, lavender light shooting through my head. It must have been some kind of hypognotic state.

Then I become awake ...in my bed, it's dark, so I get out of bed, and push the light button next to it. BUT, to my GREAT SHOCK, the LIGHT DOESN'T go on! When that happened I realized this could be astral projection. After that I just stood there a few seconds, became aware of a strange energy.....and then I got back in my real body, awake.

Now, I really think this could have been a seperation. But...here's the question....If it's dark in the normal version of a room, does the same go for the astral make up? Or should I've been able to see?

(In that case I should put a light on before attempting projection..:)
