I know that this is a stupid topic, but the image worried me a lot, since it was a kind of halucination. How much danger there is in trying OBEs?
I love you!

ASunnieSpirit

he he... :)
Ive had something similar happen to me.
I was lying in bed and woke up with vibes so i tried to go out of body, I sat up and saw a beach ball lying on my bed, i was then pulled back down and completely awoke to find nothing. It was very vivid (i saw my room in perfect detail) so i believe i has started to exit the body, but why the beach ball?
I dont know, mabey it was a dream.

Im really new at OBEs so mabey its just beginner troubles...

Dont Give up and Good Luck :)
I wouldnt worry about it, unless you have a gambling problem @_@
Im walking on sunshine :)

Hello!

That thing you saw was a hypnopompic hallucination (alucinação hipnopômpica). They happen during the trance state, transition from the sleep to the waking state. They are common and harmless.

Here you can read some more on the matter, it's in portuguese: http://www.geocities.com/athens/atrium/2995/alucinacoes.htm

Next time you're having a similar experience know you're not fully awake, you can close your eyes and concentrate on these images until you consciously find yourself in the dream environment.

Best wishes.

First of all, stop saying your topics are stupid. As long as your are honest about your topic, and serious in your questions, no topic is stupid. Ive personally seen a floating object only once. Once I saw a floating shape, vaguely humanoid, except with wings. It was so bright, however, that I quickly was shocked back into my physical body.

Now i´m more relaxed, knowing that it´s something normal! I´m thankful to you.

AndrewTheSinger: Your article is interesting and makes me see that kind of halucination is very normal. The problem is that i never have it before.
BTW: It´s nice to find someone that speakes the same language as me!

Fica bem e obrigado pela ajuda!

I love you!

"i´m more relaxed, knowing that it´s something normal!"

That attitude will take you far in OBEs [/sarcasm]

Kazbadan

Beavis: what do you mean with that? I didn´t understand too, if the word "sarcasm" means that what you sayed you sayed it with sarcasm, or if was i being sarcastic.

My attitude it´s normal. I´m entering in a strange world, and everything that happens it´s very important in a negative or positive way. So, if something strange is happening (to anybody in an unknown situation, facing strange things), it´s natural that i feel myself with fear.

If after that experience someone as Andrew says that it´s normal occuring such situation i must:
- be happy because afterall that´s not a dangerous thing
- be thankful because someone helped me dealing with the strange thing

honestly i didn´t understand why you sayed what you sayed.

I love you!

Beavis is so.....whats that word.... mean[:P]

shadowatcher

Yesterday i tried to OBE once more. The technique that i was trying consisted on get sleeping, try to wake to after that, and them get out of the body.

I was almost sleeping when suddlenly i waked. Opened my eyes and saw a strange and completly stupid thing: a flying dice, above and in front of me, rotating very, very fast. I was surprised with such thing, and thinked that it must be from my tired mind, but the dice still there for more 2 seconds. After that i blinked my eyes and sayed to myself: wake up (i was waked up already), and the stupid dice disapeared. I never saw nothing like this (i was not dreaming i´m sure) and i don´t know the relationship with OBEs. What it coul be?

Maybe a "side effect" of dreams, since i was almost starting to dream (before open the eyes) and suddlenly i waked.

What do you think?

thanks
I love you!
