Being stuck at the top of your body

if you do some searching on "stuck at projection" you might come up w/ some good results. usually if you are stuck like that it means you arent relaxed enough. even if you think you are there is a chance you are tensing up unintentionally and not to your knowledge. i believe also that if all of your chakras are not opened you won't be able to project. some relaxation tek's should help you out.

You are probabley not fully dis-engaged from the physical. When this happens to me, I relax for a few seconds and then try again. If you still feel resistance stop and wait a few more seconds. You will eventually get out or end up back in the physical.

Next time try rolling to the side, as if you are about to roll over in bed. Roll to the wall so that if you take your body with you, you don't roll off of the bed. From the sounds of it you were there. If the first roll doesn't get it all at once, just rock back and use the momentum to roll back again. Keep rocking until you can roll over and you are free. Yeah, I thought it might be that I wasn't relaxed enough.  So, I tried it again more relaxed, but see, I was using this "desire visualization" thing where you imagine an orange and the smell and taste of it and stuff, and I saw this scary guy (he looked like the african guy in that old disney movie with reese witherspoon, whatever it's called)  in front of the orange so that kind of freaked me out and I decided not to do it.  It was right before I went to sleep so I didn't want to have nightmares or anything  Thanks guys though!!!

Recently, I was astrally projecting, or at least trying to, and it felt like my soul (or astral being, whatever) was "stuck" at the top of my body.  It was trying to get out but couldn't.  Why could this be?  Was I just imagining it?  I don't know much about astral projection because I've never been able to accomplish it
