Title: Can I meet someone I befriended in a dream again?
Post by: Forestmark on April 02, 2014, 16:51:27
I know some people believe dreaming is another form of OBE. I'm not sure what I believe concerning that, but I do think that somewhere, even if it's in another universe or whatever, the people you meet in dreams might be real. I became very close friends with someone in a dream I had almost 3 years ago now, and I wrote down the dream so I remember everything about it. She said she was from the planet "Pascarva" before the dream ended. It may have actually been "Pasarsha." I didn't remember the exact name. Unfortunately I never got her name either, as weird as that is.

Do you think it's possible that, if I try really hard, I could some day meet her again in another dream or OBE?

That's really amazing! From everything I've read on AP and OBE's I would say you can absolutely meet her again just by consciously thinking of her. Of course I am new to this and could be wrong but I believe the vet's here will back me up. Also, was this a lucid dream?

It was a lucid dream in that I consciously asked her the questions that arose in my head. I don't think I was fully aware though, otherwise I would have asked for her name. Something I forgot to mention - she was blurry in the dream. I don't know what she looked like. She did look remarkably similar to a human though.

I remember when I woke up I felt very sad because I was afraid I'd never see her again. I got over it, but now I miss her again. It's so strange to me that I miss someone I met in a dream, but I guess it just further solidifies my belief that the encounter was a real experience.

To answer your specific question, SURE!  There's absolutely no reason why you couldn't.  :)

Okay, I have an update. It's really weird. I wrote it all down as soon as I could so I wouldn't forget.

I was half-asleep, or, more like connecting to a different part of my mind I guess. I met a girl named Larei (pronounced very strangely: La-ah-ree). For some reason I know the spelling is right. She looked Indian (and I don't mean Native American). After she told me her name I gently put my hand on her shoulder and asked something like "what do you know about the girl from Pascarva?"

I'm not sure how but I just knew that Larei knew something about the girl and that I was looking for her. It felt like it took a long time for me to get an answer. It was difficult to stay where I was. It required a lot of concentration as well as maintaining a sleep-like state at the same time. I lost the connection a few times and even opened my eyes, and had to find my way back by trying to go into that weird half-asleep state again to regain contact with Larei. *see side note

Another reason it took a while to get an answer is that Larei at several times kept uttering strange words that sounded like gibberish. She wasn't saying them to me, but would look off in another direction sometimes. Other times she would be looking at me, though. I couldn't understand her. It was like she was having two conversations at once.

Finally, after I kept pleading for her to tell me, she told me the girl's name is Ewa (pronounced Ey-wah). I think it's spelled right.

I asked where Ewa lives in Pascarva. I think I remember Larei telling me she lives in a place called "Tomazeen" (Tom-ah-zeen) within the planet Pascarva, but I can't be 100% certain. Everything was very surreal.

During the encounter I asked Larei to meet me again tomorrow, but she seemed to think that she can't meet me again. She seemed hesitant. This frustrated me (This has also happened before when I talked to someone else a long time ago in this same half-asleep state. They were willing to talk to me, but refused when I asked if we could talk again in the future. It's like they don't want me there. This person's name was Kage [pronounced Kay-jee]. I can tell that story if people want to read it).

Then I saw Larei levitating and her body was facing away from me as she talked some gibberish again. It was like she was talking to someone I couldn't see. Then she turned back to me and I think she may have said, "the opinion of the one with power at will is that you don't meet (or maybe it was "don't search for") Ewa again." She may have actually said, "the opinion of the one at will..." Again, it's hard to remember exact details.

I said, "I have to, she's my friend."

Larei saying "The opinion of the one with power at will" freaked me out a bit to be honest.

I asked what I had to do to see Ewa again. Larei simply said, "miss her" very clearly, and that was it (I definitely heard those words). I was shoved back here and my eyes opened. I felt a little surprised.

Side note:
While trying to maintain contact with Larei, I kept thinking of a place simply called The Grove. I somehow knew that's where she was. I got an image of it. It was a huge beautiful grass plain with a few flowers in some places. I specifically saw a purple flower. I got the impression that it may also be called "The Astral Grove," but that may or may not have been my own thoughts. I got the impression it was a meeting place for people. This grove is where I talked with Larei. No wonder I kept seeing the background as grass and blue sky.

Sorry for the length.
