Can you see people that are alive, and not projecting, in a projection?

I was dreaming and I was in my friends house with many objects on a table in the dream. All of a sudden a football, which had previously been on the table, wasn't there anymore. I decided to try and make this football reappear. As soon as I did, i became lucid. So that was cool. In my dream I wanted to astral project (since I have done this dozens of times) My dream ended and i felt myself in my body, I heard the loud noises and vibrations, so i separated. I was on a youth retreat so I was in a room with other friends who were also napping(in reality). I went over to my friend tyler (in my astral body) while he was sleeping and tried messing with him to see if I could wake him up or get him to astral project. He woke up and looked around (although i don't think this actually happened). I jumped up as I always do in order to explore the astral plane. I decided I wanted to go back to the place I was in my previous dream. I created the place almost exactly the same. but this time there was a large cross in the room.  I took the football off the table and floated into another room. In this room was my friend Jordan. We had a conversation that I don't remember too well. I'm confused because I've never seen another living person in a projection before. I kind of think the projection turned into a dream at one point. but the whole thing for sure wasn't a dream.
My main Question: CAN YOU SEE/TALK TO REAL LIFE PEOPLE IN AN ASTRAL TRAVEL, THAT ARE NOT ASTRAL PROJECTING.

You don't have to be a medium. I'm not a medium and I've visited people in the Phase and with some interesting results. Validations seemed evident. The Phase may have the potential to turn telepathic. Experiment and find out for yourself.

It was probably a thought-form you created subconsciously. It could have theoretically been some form of consciousness from your friend, but in my opinion likes are it was your manifestation.
