when i go to medidate i cant concertrate properly..
does anyone else have this promblem or know how to fixxx it.
Building concentration is like building muscles. You have to start small and work your way up.
I suggest spending at least 5 minutes a day trying to hold just 1 thing in your mind for the entire duration. It could be an image of something, like a pencil. Or your breathing. The idea is to hold your awareness still on 1 thing of your choice. If you start thinking of something else, just bring yourself back to the exercise. When you can do it comfortably for 5 minutes, do 6, and so on, or until you've noticed a difference - you'll notice it in your everyday life as well. This exercise might sound boring, but it's well worth the effort.
No one ever finishes learning how to meditate. It's always a process of self learning that never ends. No one ever gets really good at it, they just get better at it than they used to be.
