OBE = Out of Body Experience. For some people, this term it includes all types of "Out of Body Experiences" like Astral Projection (AP) & Near Death Experiences (NDE).
Anyway, with the use and use, the word OBE ended up by being just an AP. So basically OBE and AP are the same.
If you hear about somebody projecting to the "RTZ", it means he projected to the "Real Time Zone". In other words, in a perfect copy of the physical world at the current time. Robert Bruce (I think) coined this term.
Also, if you hear about Phasing and "F2oC", they are speaking basically of Astral Projection but with a different method to "get in".
AP = OBE = F2oC = Focus 21 to 27 (Monroe)

Hope it helps.

For those that walk in more traditional circles, who've not yet been exposed to the ideas of Monroe's phasing of focus levels or whatnot, there's a fairly simple way of looking at the definitions that have been around far longer than any of us here...

Astral projection is detaching and sending your consciousness alone into the astral. Remote viewing is a good example. Monroe's astral phasing can also be described in this way.

Astral travel relates to full body OBEs. You go into the astral with a full etheric body - arms, legs, etc.

Hope that helps.
