How Often Do You Project?

I'd especially like to hear from the "veteran projectors" who've been doing this for a long time, but newbie's (like myself) are welcome too.

How often do you go intentionally project into the non-physical? Once a week? Twice a week? Every day? A few times a month?
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep; because my dreams are bursting at the seams.

Intentionally?  Zero.  I don't bother anymore as I've learned that spiritual growth is attained much faster by actually experiencing this physical reality.  So, my focus over the last couple years has been solely upon my spiritual growth.  However, I have found that as I have increased the quality of my consciousness non-physical events such as spontaneous projections have vastly increased.

I don't worry about having them anymore.

Very interesting. I can understand that actually because 1 of my 2 projections (and the better one) was completely unintended as well.

How often do you unintentionally, spontaneously project then?

As often as multiple times a week (rare)... usually 1 - 2 times a month.
I do keep goals in mind though which sometimes pop into play... usually it's testing my the reality I'm experiencing.  I like to see how things compare to this physical reality... and in all cases, it's been IDENTICAL.

AAAAAAAA

A few times a week, intentionally. I have periods which I slow things down for a bit, though, because it can be mentally tiring.

First I'd like to say- 9000TH POST!!

Second, when you say "i like to see how things compare to this physical reality, and in all cases its been identical" what exactly do you mean? As in, the clarity, sharpness, and level of awareness you have when non-physical appears to be identical to when you are physical?

What I mean is that while I'm experiencing another reality and I touch a tree... or cement... or anything... everything feels exactly as it does when I do it physically.  When I look at something non-physically, it's as it is physically.  There is no discernible difference between what we call physical and what we call non-physical.  It's all a matter of perspective.

Stuff like clarity & sharpness are things I consider to be secondary characteristics and not directly related to "level of awareness".

1 to 3 conscious projections a week.  Usually also 1 or 2 spiritual dreams per week.  These dreams help me to keep on track with having empathy/ being loving to others in my physical life.  They have a story line that tests my ethics and makes me see things from the perspective of another person.  They always have a profound effect on me.  Usually more so than my conscious projections.

That's a good point.  Tests happen even within dreams.
You can actually judge *your own* quality of consciousness very well by how you "act" in a dream.
For the dream scene and how you act in it is you at the "being" level... there's no "intellectual" actions happening.

You can't hide your true self in a dream.  If you're an butt in your dreams, and you think you're a nice person in physical life... well, at the "being" level, you're an butt.  You're simply ACTING the "nice" part... you're "nice" only intellectually.  You act nice because you're afraid of what might happen otherwise.

I agree 100% with this. Not only do they have a profound effect, but they also set your actual "mood" for the next couple of days.

I find that the ones that we "awaken" to in our Dreams have more of effect on us because we chose to see this on a subconscious level. This is where our real NP teachings are found. That's why I don't usually stop them or alter them in any way. I do have full control of my own actions in them though and many times they will end up being "re-scripted" or "looped".

9005th POST!!

ok I'm done

That's incredible! I can't wait until my level of awareness is that clear when I'm non-physical. How long did it take you to get to that level of awareness? Less than a year, more than a few years?

I don't know.
I've been meditating for over 20 years... projecting for as long as I can remember.
My "dreams" have always been like this.

So, I don't know.  :)
