Thanks for sharing Meg!  Congrats on making contact with your guide.  Simian, huh?  Isn't that a scientific name for a primate?

As an interesting by-note to all this... Simian has spoken to me a couple of times through symbols from Greek and Roman mythology. There was the Pantheon reference above, and she also told me (as I wrote under my auto writing topic a couple of days back) to "receive Minerva. She wants to tell you a story", and I later learned that Minerva was a patron of the arts and "letters". Poets who could not write would "Invita Minerva". (and  I  am a poet who isn't writing. *SIGH*)

Anyway, I've just been having a little search around the net, and I just discovered the story of Hypnos, the God of Sleep. Apparently there were two gates that Hypnos opened - The Gates of Horn, which led towards prophetic dreams, and the Gates of Ivory, which led towards dreams that would deceive. I just wonder if this might be the meaning of this place with the two sets of doors?

Wow, that's some trippy stuff. If you know anyone who needs some proof that projection isn't "in our minds"...

Sure is, Jeff! I actually put that to her when I was doing the auto writing!.... she wrote: "yes, but its also...." etc about Pantheon. I just hope it's not some kind of sideways insult ;)

Hi Meg!
Sounds like your doing great, your experiments with auto-writing have really paid off! I have not really had much more success with it, I think I'm just getting more ramblings from my subconcious.

My new plan is to try to make contact with my spirit guide during sleep ie  make an asssertion before going to sleep that I want to contact my spirit guide PLUS be able to remember it!

I've tried it a couple of times in the past without succes, but someone was saying earlier that you have to do this for a while, kind of make it a little ritual before you go to sleep at night, eventially something will happen (hopefully!)

Anyway you are flying miles ahead!

All the best!

Wow, Meg!  You are going great guns, I am hoping for more posts on this.

Meg,
Congrats, that is really great! It sounds like you've got one of the older and greater spirits guiding you now. Don't you just love it how age really means nothing to them? we get so obsessed about keeping our youth, then along comes a spirit that when they manifest themselves, they are just so stunning (and with great cheekbones), doesn't matter that they're thousands (or indeed billions) of years old. It means nothing to them.

Now you'll want to hang on because you're in for the ride of your life! Remeber to always trust what she tells you, and "check your beliefs at the door" because with a guide like that your going to start being told things and learn to do things that you had never thought possible. I do believe she will be one of the most wonderful beings to ever come in to your life.

that's really great that you got to meet her.  some incentive like this should really give your projections a boost.  it's probably like being a little kid w/ a new toy.  you're going to have a tough time not thinking about this, which should lead to more projections.  when your obe memory improves to the point where you can remember the whole experience, it's really going to be something.  definetly keep us posted on all of the future details.  this is really great stuff to read about, especially for anyone who hasn't projected yet. happy for ya.

Meg

Thank you so much to all of you for your wonderful words of encouragement. It means a lot.

I am feeling so grateful for this experience... Some of you might have read on my other posts about some of the negative experiences I've had in the astral in the past  (the evil demon things, and of course the discovery of my unintentional astral relationship!) ... I can't tell you how good it feels to know that I'm finally on the right path.

Thanks again,

Meg

Meg

Hi everyone,

It's an action-packed week I'm having... Please bear with long post.

I made contact with my guide in the astral last night. Soon after I went to sleep, I realized I was dreaming and became lucid. I found myself in paralysis, and made my exit from there. I tried to remain as still as possible - frequently I find myself shooting uncontrollably into the stratosphere! - and was rolling like jelly on the floor calling "Sereerer" when she showed up.

At that point my memories become a bit jumbled. I remember that we were "flying" and she took me through some kind of house or building by the ocean, with two sets of glass doors that opened out as if onto two different balconies, one following the other. We paused there, and I was able to look at her properly. She appeared young, around 20 maybe.. I commented on this and she looked at me as if to say "I'm a hell of a lot older than I look!"  She was very tall and graceful with long honey-red hair. A kind of perpetual half-smile. Stately. Great cheekbones.

I snapped back to body a couple of times, and each time she was with me after a few moments (catching my hands as I blasted up as usual) and escorting me through the same place. I remember catching myself in the glass doors and she laughed. From there - outside the doors - we went to a few different places, but I've lost memory of all but one. I remember sitting at the base of a big grassy slope with her, talking.. It looked like some kind of ranch in the American mid-west. I was receiving information in flashes about where we were, but it's gone now.

She did tell me what her real name is - and what it means - but it disappeared into the very edge of my memory almost immediately. After I woke, I used the automatic writing to ask her again, and she was kind enough to bring it back into my consciousness. Her name is Simian, and it is a word for "the ....... (don't know this word) that closes the gates of the Pantheon after justice has been served." I'm not entirely sure what that means yet, but she said exactly the same thing both in the astral and on paper.  She tells me "Sereerer" is a word from a "forgotten language" meaning "Messenger".

Anyway folks...another guide story. Thanks for listening.

Meg
