Would anyone care to relate to an exit experience for me?
I ask of this because I am having a hard time figuring out what stage I'm at, and I believe I maybe be carrying around a few misconceptions.

I have obtained full body paralysis a number of times, and have even experienced a dual consciousness sensation with my breathing as well as a double sensation in my legs. I can get myself to drift. I occasionally can hear sounds out of the ordinary, voices mostly. I would also feel a sort of detachment from my body, not as if I got up and left, but as if my body was shrinking and stretching until I felt as if I was a single point of consciousness among a void 3d blackness.

Those are just some of the things that happen to me while working towards an OBE and or AP. One thing I have a hard time grasping is the exit. I am a very visually stimulated person, and I have the idea that I will perceive my consciousness moving away from my body's closed eyelids, and entering a visually conscious environment. Is is wrong to believe the exit is like a light switch, or should I worry about other priorities before moving on?

I have had a vivid projection twice, the first was induced by sickness, and my consciousness gradually faded into another environment, the second was a result of a dream, and like the majority of my dreams, I'm not quite sure where it began. I know I cannot expect an exact replication of another experience, but I am curious as to hear a few exit descriptions.
if you are willing to share one with me, don't feel obligated to go off the charts in detail. Such an account will benefit me at my current state of progress.

This is an example of what happens when I attempt a projection:

Late last night I tried another attempt. this time, I did a little self hypnosis and meditation right before I went to bed. Once in bed, the first thing I noticed was my legs were almost humming with vibration. They seemed suspended in place with sensation on and all around them. Minutes later, the sensation spread towards my upper body and arms.
A short time later, I was already in a full body paralysis.

If you have ever been at a beach for any number of hours, out among the surf, or on a boat on rough seas, you might recall feeling the pulling/floating sensations long after setting foot on land, often times when sitting still and especially when in bed. That was one feeling I had last night. It was as if I was being moved horizontally in different directions by some sort of invisible wave or tide. I soon figured out I could move along with this pulling and follow in its direction. moving forwards would give me the sensation of flying forward at a walking speed at least 10 feet, moving backwards would be more like a drifting sensation and resulting in ascent or decent. moving to my side would feel like a slipping, and the further I went to my side, I began to flip, or roll, like my world was turning upside down. Moving to the side and rolling resulted in a very strange body confusion, almost as if I was looking at myself as an abstract portrait. When I moved forward, I also got the sense of elongation, like my legs were telephone polls.

After moving around any which way I could, at about 5-10 minutes into that, My heart rate skyrocketed, It felt as if I was having an adrenalin rush, my breathing became erratic, and I became out of breath, and no matter how much I would draw air in, my lungs seemed to only get smaller, like a boa constrictor had me in a death grip. By now it felt as if I was close to exit (or death lol), It seemed I was high in the sky, still on my bed, but my senses told me I was on top of a very tall platform. My perception of everything changed, and now it was if I was doing a slow motion back flip. There was a huge pressure in my forehead, like someone had planted an air hose in my nasal cavity and began blowing me up like a balloon. It was almost as if my skull was going to burst. At this point I started to hear some faint voices. and I wasn't sure how much longer I could hold the sensation, or rather, what to do next.

This is kind of strange.. but I thought it might be worth mentioning. "The common goldfish is the only known animal that can see in both infrared and ultraviolet light." I have a fish tank to the left hand side of my bed, with a solitary goldfish. he's a good fish, lol, never makes any problems for me, but this night he was ecstatic! right about the time I was feeling the pressure in my forehead, my fish was going crazy! jumping out of the water, splashing, hitting the glass, making as much noise a goldfish can physically make. this bothered me to no end, and ultimately resulted in a loss of concentration. I gathered enough will to turn my head and look at the tank... then everything came back. I opened my eyes, and there was my fish... He was calm now, and I had lost 90% of my extra sensations. my lower body was still in a paralyses state, but by then I was so warn out, and annoyed at my fish, I just said screw it, so I willed my legs and popped them back into life.

Does anyone else have these sensations? And what about the fish, does anyone have any ideas about that? As far as what I described, does anyone have any advice or comments? And I apologise for the length, I tend to do that...
