Let me start off with some background information.

I am 16 year's old and about a year ago i would sometimes wake up to sleep paralysis. When you're body's asleep and you're minds awake. It went away for a while but now these past weeks, i've been waking up to it almost everyday.  I did some research and found out that it can be linked to astral projection. I have been trying it for weeks but i am always to scared to go through with it, so i wind up moving my finger to get out of the state.

So today I was sleeping in and i kept waking up every 30 minutes or so to the vibrations, I would try to project but the vibrations got really intense and i heard a lot of noises and i would just get too freaked out and shake it off, go back to sleep, just to wake up to it again. So I woke up again, and this time the vibrations were really really intense, i couldn't move anything, which is weird because i can always move a finger or something, but nothing. It started to get more intense and my ears popped (like when you're going up on a hill and pressure builds up.) It started to feel as i was being possessed to be honest with you, i know i wasn't though.. hah. so i told myself just try to get up and shake it off. I had no intent So i proceeded in trying to stand up and shake my hands to wake them up, and i did so. I started walking while shaking my hands and legs to make them wake up, this only lasted a few moments until i realized i was back in my bed.. still paralyzed. I gathered some courage and tried the "roll-out technique" just to see if what just happened before, really did happen. So I started to roll over and it felt like my whole body did, and i went off the side of my bed and started to float down gently, but before i reached the bottom, i then was back in my bed. still paralyzed. I know as i was rolling out part of my hand disappeared, Again, I was also very tired.

This event also seemed like very dreamy like. Such as it was a lucid dream. and what happened was just my imagination in a dream and those events didn't occur. but i don't know.... very very strange..

Melting of hands is very very common in real time zone.

It sounds like you had a false awakening, where you think you have woken, but truly are having some type of Obe.

If this is so, congratulations!!!
