I think that was your astral body looking down at you. That means you had a OBE. If I'm wrong about this please correct.

Thanks for the reply, and that was what I'm hoping it was.  I wonder what triggered it though?  Any other opinions?

Were you awake when it happened or did you wake up to it?  If you were awake then it was triggered because you were so close to sleep.  If you woke up to it then you probably became aware in a natural projection that you had while asleep.  Did it feel like you were awake?  Did you have any control?  If those were answered with a no then it wasn't likely an OBE.  If they were answered with a yes then you did have an OBE.

If it was an AP, then it was deffinatley natural, meaning I did wake up to it.  I think I felt like I was awake, but then I do in dreams also.  However, I've never had a dream before where I am just observing myself.  Also, the me I was observing had facial hair, and I do not, so I don't know if that means anything.  I can't answer the control question because there was not really anything to control.  I did feel as if I was actually thinking, and not just following some random events.  

Thanks for your help APGuy, it looks as if i MIGHT have had a natural projection, and if I did, it would be a first that I remember.  Thanks again.

Last night I was sleeping at a friends house, and I was on the floor.  Anyway, in the middle of the night, I picture myself in front of me.  I'm looking directly at myself, yet I have facial hair, and then I started to think about what was happening.  I've heard and read of OBEs and Astral Projection, and I think while it was happening I thought it might be one of the two.  When I started thinking like this, what I remember is confusion, and that was all.  I actually almost forgot about it this morning.  Anyway, I was wondering if this was an OBE or was I just dreaming about that.  I have to say, though, that I remember the confusion that followed to have a feeling with it that was so intense, it felt real.  Thanks for any help, guys.
