Now I think about it, this is how I experience most of my projections. I lay still in the morning, wait for some sort of shift to happen, sometimes a pull, sometimes something else.
So, just in case, when I hit the intense vibrations (had that once), I can do the same and it will work as an exit technique?
Yup!
You've essentially figured out how to get out of the way of an otherwise natural body reaction.
Projection is, technically, as natural as breathing. When you get out of the way of breathing you do it naturally, sometimes even forgetting that you're breathing.
Projection is the same. It's not about doing the right method perfectly, it's about getting your intellect out of the way and allowing yourself to project.
Most people don't realize that your body WANTS to project. Let it.

That's some good advice right there.
I just don't know how I would begin to apply that lol. Sounds like it can only be realized through experience. Do you think you could teach someone to project this way from the beginning?

You follow these points.

They're from a Tom Campbell lecture.

Very interesting. I try to do that as much as possible once I'm in a deep meditative state. But I get confused about some of the advice I've been getting. Does that fly in the face of the "make your intention to project very strong. Visualize it, feel what its like to be out of body, etc" type of approach? Or is that something you do pre-meditative state and then switch gears completely as you get close to projecting?

Nono, don't "TRY"... just "ALLOW" it to happen.

Not at all, but for now... simply have a goal in mind for what it is you want to do when you project. Then forget it... and "do". :)

Ok, I can roll with that. Thanks :)
If you can, drop in on the new thread I started about my OBE today and let me know what you think. I'm pretty confused lol.
Sometimes I do not have to do anything and I ap. Other times I have to make it happen otherwise it does not happen. My body and mind feels very relaxed but it does not happen. When that happens I do an ap technique and it works.

Yep, for me too. Seems to be about 'what mood' your body is in so to speak. Sometimes your body and mind are poised to just slip in to it and sometimes you know it's going to be awhile. In the later case it's hard to just sit there for a really long time doing nothing. You need the help of visualizations, music, exit techniques etc.
