Last night, after about an hour of getting the body shakes and head states trying to OBE, I throw back my bed covers and climb out of bed. I look back and see myself asleep with the covers still on me. I realise then I must be astral travelling and dcide against doing a reality check cos it seems obvious already. I go to my door which is open and has a flask hanging on the handle which both isn't normal. There are 2 large tube-like things in the way I have to climb over and I know they are made of paper mache(?) I feel heavy and sluggish and realise I can't fly.
I go out the door and neet an old woman going up the stairs. I ask her if she's real or a dream character; she says she's real but it doesn't seem so. I walk down the landing which is now the hall and I see a pool of cat wee. I think I want it to disappear and all goes dark. When it gets light again, it's still there but the old woman comes to clean it up. She says it's the cat thing that did it. I see a black cat like thing pulling itself along the floor and I'm suspicious of it as I walk past but then see it's just a black cat.
Then I'm in a kitchen and take note of the time which says nearly 4 o'clock. Then I;m downstairs and I go into a room. I turn the light on but it's still dark. There's nothing in the room, just like the room as normal. I go to the next room and think, "what I need now is a beautiful woman." Then sitting on a chait is this woman. I ask if she's real and she says yes. She tells me her name but I can't remember it now, She says she's from Manchester and I say that's a long way to come. She was watching tv and I see an image on the screen like some octagonal construct that is meant to be like a star gate like on that tv series. It turns out the cat is hers. We both sit on the same chair and get to know each other. She says do I have thread and a needle to repair her button and I say yesm and that reminds me I have buttons on my coat to sew on too. Then my dad come in, (who dies a couple of years ago), and I ask him if he's real or a dream character. He says he's real and just come back from the bookies and shows me the little blue pen her got from there. The woman tells me not to be rude to my dad. Then she says it's time for her to go and as she's going out the door I ask her if I can have a quick word with her. I'm outside the door talking to her as I become aware I'm lying in bed and have now woken up.
A very interesting experience that I would love to think was an OBE, but there were many dreamlike /LD aspects to it. All my previous LDs were very short and quite jerky in a way. So what do you folks think? Was this a Focus 2 or Focus 3 from Kepple's 4-Focus system?
well if you saw yourself in your bed then you were OBE, atleast for that amount of time, sounded like you drifted back into a LD though, but only you can decide that for yourself.
