Okay, this night I had a (nonlucid)dream, don't know really about what it was anymore.. but suddenly (without wanting to AP) the vibrations hit me very strongly! I became lucid and thought WTH I didn't even had a lucid dream!?..
So I tried to relax and get the vibrations reach their peak to exit.. and well I did actually exit! I could feel myself floating in a 90° angle upwards...
I slowly 'floated' some metres away of my body, thinking "hm this is still kind of blurry and dark" and then there was some more light.. and I kept moving very slowly, totally amazed, but than..
.. I realized this was not my bedroom and everthing faded and I woke in my real bed! It was the couch downstairs where I got an OBE off. the exact same couch I was laying in yesterday night wanting to fall asleep after a party to celebrate the end of the exams (very wasted/depressed.. exgf related.. was asking for God's help and asking "why me?" I wasn't even a believer in God anymore till I found out about this website.. I hate alcohol)
Hm, so I guess it was all fake, the vibrations were very real, though maybe I failed exiting and then I got into a lucid dream maybe?
What do you think?
A lucid dream pretty much is a projection. What makes it a "dream" is the area of consciousness that it's occuring in. Turning a lucid dream into an OBE is really just a matter of focusing your awarness to an area of consciousness close to the physical. Not that it's easy, but if your lucid, you've already made a big step.
Okay,
Isn't it just possible to see yourself get out of body in another room than the one you are physically lying or is it just not possible?
btw I heard some music playing while I was 'out'
Thanks!
Hi Thursday
In my opinion, anything is possible. I've looked at where my physical should be during projections - and there's nothing there, just a dint where "I" should be. I've also been two of me, and once I was three of me.
There's no such thing as "not possible". Certainly not in this arena.
Music is a common sound during projection. I often hear what sounds like a really old fashioned 'tinny' radio playing. Voices, bangs, pops, whispers (sometimes directly in your ear) and so on are all normal.

Hm, that's what I thought too 'nothing is impossible'. However I was convinced one should 'get out' in the room they're sleeping in.. However it really felt like nothing like I've experienced before in a dream.
Especially the music that was playing, I NEVER hear music in a dream. I even think it's impossible because the brain can't write a song on its own and play it crisp clear in a dream.
Thanks

Who says?
Sorry, I missformulated:
My brain can't write a song on its own and play it crisp clear in a dream. Well that's what I think because I never have experienced it..
I really hope it can't :) If so, my OBEcounter jumps from 0 to 1, yiha!
Hi Thursday
Ah, now I understand you
I think our brains are capable of much more than we give them credit. Although perhaps I would prefer to use the word 'mind' rather than brain. And my interpretation of 'mind' is something beyond our physical brain. The brain filters what the mind experiences.
I often wake up remembering that I've been listening to a song - in perfect memory. I even wake up singing the song.
And during OBEs (mainly just before separation) I have heard songs that I've known in physical reality - but they are even better and more beautiful. It's very hard to describe. It's as if I can truly appreciate the beauty of each instrument even though I'm listening to many instruments at the same time.
