Crimson Tears

Ok so it started a few months ago,,,i was on holiday with my parents in south africa,,,and was asleep in the guesthouse,,,as i was lightly asleep i felt sum1 blow really hard into my ear,,,and it woke me up.....as i brushed it off as nothing i started to fall asleep again,,but i got this high pitched ringing in my ear,,and although i wasnt extremely tired it felt like sumthing inside my body was forcefully trying to get me to sleep,,but i was terrified at this point,,,i had no idea what was going on but for some reason i was sure that summin bad would happen if i fell asleep.

That was the last of it (in south africa) upon returning to england the same thing happened but more powerfull this time,,,i got the loud high pitched ringing and my body would move even though i didnt want it to,,,and i got the same feeling of summin forcing me to go to sleep but i continued to fight it and try sit up, which i eventually did,,,but everytime i tried to fall asleep the same thing would happen,,,,it continued 5-6 times in a row but finally stopped.

This is starting to worry me,,,it happens quite frequently monthly or bi monthly at least,,,,DOES ANYONE have a clue what this is,,,cos i really dont like it,,,and from what i have read and experianced its nothing like astral projection

All input is greatly apreciated

Hi Crimson Tears,

Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? I ask, as although i'm not saying this is sleep paralysis, it sounds very similar to what I experience when I move to sleep paralysis from a waking state.
This usually happens as I go to sleep (more common in the morning and during naps) and for me it starts with a 'sinking into my head sensation'. If I don't fight against it I feel my ability to move my body diminish. It also brings with it a 'fear' element. Although I have had experience with sleep paralysis all of my life, this sort just makes me instinctivly fight it as it feels very heavy on my body and mind. I also get a ringing/tone in my ears.

Do you experience any other sensations you could describe?

Thanx for that m8

I have experianced sleep paralysis quite a few times,,,but i have always been asleep and woken up not being able to move,,i havent actually moved into paralysis from a semi concious state,,,so there is a good chance your right,,,,,but this feeling of fear is nothing i have had before whilst experiancing OOBE related phenomina

I've noticed a few types of sleep paralysis, and usually I am happy to find myself in a sleep paralysis state as I use it to OBE. But this form, which occurs as I am awake going into sleep does create a fear reaction. I guess as we normally wake up in a paralysis state we miss the heavy and unusual sensations and so the fear reaction doesn't kick in - but this form might trigger a fear reaction (it does in me) as we feel it increasingly take hold of us.

Forgot summin important,,,,the last few times this has happened (this is gonna sound crazy but i swear its true) sometime,,,,although my eyes are closed,,,,i can see,,,,not clearybut i can clearly make out a lightbulb,,,not the light but i can see the actuall lightbulb and some other things in the room even though my eyes are closed

Lol Was writing summin else while u where replying.

Thanx for the great insight,,i do feel alot better about it, next time it happens i am gonna try to embrace it rather than fight it,,,,who know i might even find myself "floating about"

white_pawn

well maybe its you going into a trance
that would explain the ringing
and the blow things probly just  the way your body reacts to going into a trance

i also expiriance seeing through my eyelids i was told its a good state to be in to ap so take advantage try a exit technique

Crimson Tears

Thanx for that white pawn,,,,all input is very welcome as i am relatively new to this,,,,now that i understand it better,,,,it doesnt seem to want to happen again lol,,,,another thing i noticed is that it only happens when i am in a certain mood,,,,i was quite down everytime it happened (girl trouble dont ask lol) but now thats sorted and i am all happy again,,,,its not friggin happening ne more
