So I have been getting closer and closer everyday to having a successful projection.  I did not think my first would be like this...

I was sitting on my couch, leaned over my coffee table. I was reading something on my phone(which was laying on the table) when all of the sudden I felt my body freeze, my eye lids were still open and I could see everything I was looking at still. Then my phone shrinks about twice the size,I am still sitting in the exact same position I was in before. Then I notice that the black fuzzball is the top of my head, my phone got smaller because I am further away from it. I immediately realize what's happening and I am back in my body. Couldn't of been longer than 2 seconds for the whole experience.

What amazes me is how instaneous it was, when generally I have to meditate at least an hour to make any progress.

Has anyone else here ever fallen out of their body by accident? It's crazy stuff, and not sure if it's something I want to happen often...

I would love to just be able to snap out of my body while in the midst of doing something very physical and awake. I need to be in a sleep paralysis for it to work. I fell out of my body while in SP, once, though. I woke up with sleep paralysis and my entire room looked 70% the same but there were things in there that I never bought and it was decorated slightly different. I tried to move my physical body and I actually got it moving. I was moving my physical body around (but I was very weak and groggy) and I tried to get up. When I lifted myself out of bed, I found myself completely out of body. To this day, I keep wondering if I woke up in another dimension where I decorated my room slightly different and spontaneously APed out of there.

I have heard(not experienced) depending how high of a vibratory plane you get to, you may see some objects you don't normally see in your bedroom(for example). This is because those objects had been "burned" into history in the plane because they were in that room for a very long time.
Cool concept, can't back it up whatsoever. Maybe someone on here can!

I found that, in order to continue to progress, one needs to completely forget everything they have read or once believed about astral projection.
One can obviously progress a certain amount using the knowledge of others, but you WILL plateau.  You'll eventually need to ditch everything you know and rely upon your own experiences to continue progressing.  :)
