Hey guys

So bin taking in all ur advice for lucid dreaming and projection meathods etc....and last night i woke up and had paralysis as well as really intense vibrations shooting through my entire body (i felt like an electrical outlet) but thanx to your advice i wasnt afraid at all (i was quite enjoying it) THEN summin odd happened, i saw a statue of a woman (the statue was glowing pretty bright) and i have no idea who she was,,,,is it possible she was my guide? or perhaps a deceased family member,,,,like i said i wasnt afraid or ne thing,,,,just thought i would share this and see if anyone else has come accross summin similar

sounds like hypnogogic halluzination. in the borderline state between being awake and asleep (this is as far as i know the state where projections occur) you see and hear all kinds of weird things. it is a dream starting and if you just go with the haluzination you will fall asleep and dream.

A couple of possibilities: The dweller on the threshold often seen by people in sleep paralysis (including me).  One of the possible theories for it is that your projected double is too close to your body, so part of you is seeing yourself, and your energy body is receiving fear thoughts from your physical body, which creates a feedback, then changing the appearance of your energy body to something scary.
The other two possibilities:  Hypnagogic hallucinations (seen by you as you're going to sleep) or Hypnopompic hallucinations (seen by you as you wake up and are still paralyzed.) If it were me, I would categorize it as a hypnopomp, because those can stay around for a long time, until I freak out, while hypnagogics 'fleet by'  my field of vision rather quickly.

Another possibility (though it might be the hallucinations that happen then) could be that it is something of meaning. The thing to do then is just to go with the gut on what it might mean...any distinct feelings?

IMHO , this is a typical assisted pullout and that your own feelings are quite correct , she was probably a soul mate which can project an image from the future to you , a deceased relative spirit  , a guide or an angel as you believed . This is not atypical your recall is exceptional though .
