Few words exchanged with old lookin guy

Last night I was lucid (not sure if out of body or what..) I was stood in front of this old looking guy and I felt I was just about to return to the physical when I stopped myself and shouted to this guy wait wait! I just want to ask you a few questions about astral projection.  Usually id get that evil look which would force me to return to the physical but instead he said 'what do you want to know?' I said 'am I actually out of my body right now?' he said 'lets just say, some people think you cant breathe in space but you can' and then he winked and I 'woke up'.  I was then layed there trying to interpret what he said but I guess it could mean anything or nothing.

Ya, interesting, sounds like an analogy, the space is what we consider 'outside'. I guess he means that some people believe that life is only possible while 'inside'.

Can you describe the place?

I think its phenomenal that you remembered to ask the question about Astral flight.  It seems to show you were pretty aware of what you were doing.  Wow, wish I could be so alert.  I think the old man was quite the character.  I believe he meant that when we are in astral flight, we can go anywhere.  I find for myself I have no difficulty breathing under water in my dreams.  It sure seemed to me that he was one of your spirit guides with a wonderful sense of humour.

I usually get annoyed looks when trying to communicate with characters, as if I've insulted them or as though I've got no right to be questioning things.. sometimes they'll only have to turn around and not have any particular expression on there face but there's something about them that really frightens me inside and it'll cause me to wake up and so its always good when there smiling and say something nice, even if it does lead to more and more questions.   

Not long back I was wondering about this big warehouse shouting 'is there anybody here? hello.. anyone?' which happens quite often actually where I'm in a building of some sort or outside with nobody at all in sight.  Then this guy walked past me pushing this other guy in a wheelchair, he turned around, looked at me and it frightened the life out of me, then he starts laughing to himself and I had to will myself to wake up.
