OBE "Portal To A Dark Land"

Hallo to everybody at AstralPulse and Happy New Year.!!
Here is an OBE I had a couple nights ago. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

"Portal To A Dark Land"

Tuesday, December 29, 2009 (OBE # 89)
   The OBE was preceded by a dream. In the dream I had fallen asleep in an unfamiliar bedroom apartment. I woke up to see a large black and white frosted glass window in that bedroom. It appeared very strange, most unusual. I got up and went over to investigate it. I stood in front of this window for a short minute and then realized that it was a portal to another dimension. Suddenly, on an inspired impulse, I jumped through the frosted glass window.
   OBE proper ( 89) Suddenly I was out of body flying hundreds of feet above a strange land. The terrain was mostly steep hills and gullies with no trees and little (if any) vegetation. It was a dark cloudy night and the land below looked a dull colorless black and white and grey.
   Quickly my elation turned to quick concern.Though flying is a joy I suddenly did not now feel safe and could sense, though could not see, strong presences somewhere nearby. I twisted about in the air looking for signs of life. Something ethereal seemed to dart about in nearby wispy clouds. Suddenly the OBE was over as abruptly as it had begun. I was back in waking consciousness in my room in the physical.
   Notes -- Time was almost exactly 7:00 AM. Duration of this OBE was quite short - it lasted one minute or less. I believe the dream was actually in my bedroom. The frosted glass window was my perception of the only window in the room. When I went through that window then the OBE began but not directly outside above the street but in some far distant location. OBE #89 No familiar location(s). Locale I and or a BST. Unfamiliar being(s) were Discarnate flying creature(s). Dream Into OBE,  Deliberate,  Portal,  Flight,  Emotional,  Meditation (hours before), Energy-pranayama (hours before), Short (less than 2 minutes).

Pretty cool, sounds like fun to me!

I find that most of my dreams take place in other times, i.e. my past or future. Lately I have been experimenting with crystals, magnets, energy and I have found out that my perception of time radically changes! Which is usually followed by changes in temperature, 80 degrees starts to feel like 60 degrees and 10 minutes feels like one hour! Someone could go crazy with all this unbelievable madness!

A question: how many obe's do you have on average, say per month? Just curious.

I have read some pretty wild claims about the use of crystals and astral projection and almost all of it is good. So it would seem that you have made a smart choice, especially by combining the use of a crystal with energy work/meditations.

Interesting timing as to that question - because - I just got done reviewing my records for 2009 and 2008. This past year I had a total of eight ( OBEs, including the one posted above. For 2008 I had nine (9) OBEs. That is not as many as I would like (it would be nice to have two or three a week to be honest, but, oh well). That comes out to about one OBE every month and a half = 1 OBE every 6 weeks.

Thanks for answering, for some reason I thought you were having them more often. Perhaps because most of the advanced projectors on this forum can induce them (I think) and I thought when you can, you go oob all the time. Can you induce them or are your obe's all spontaneous? (like mine are). I just have to wait until they come along. I would like to have at least two a week. But they are irregular, sometimes I don't have one for a month, sometimes three in a week...

Hi Timandra,

It appears that you and I are quite similar in out of body experience skill level. Yes I can induce an OBE on occasion, but alas those occasions are few and far between. I usually need to be fortunate enough to be in the mind awake/body asleep state and usually with sleep paralysis and/or vibrations. Or else need to be in just the right state of mind (preferably lucid) in a dream to deliberately to go OOB.
Like you I will occasionally have two (or even 3) OBEs in one night and then go several weeks or months without any at all.
However, happily  , lately I have been spending more time and energy focusing on projection and related matters. This has included regular meditation and pranayama (breath exercises) as well as the rope induction meditation exercise. Maybe all of this is about to pay off because just last night I Did have another OBE. (I only had 2 OBEs inside a month all last year and those two happened in the same night back to back.) I will post the latest OBE (which was also induced directly from a dream btw) as soon as possible (in a day or so).
