Strange feeling around my naval area when trying to project

So when i first started to consciously project my first attempt was successful(or at least i viewed through my closed eyelids). Forgive the English because i am Afrikaans. I was imagining myself going down a stare way and counting down trying a technique that just came to mind. Within 5 minutes my head started feeling as if it is being pulled backward and then jerks out again. Being in this state for a while i heard a voice calling out to me "Stop what your doing Newton" I was wondering if my brother returned and maybe know what i am attempting to do because i was laying on my back. I then decided to ignore this voice because i have read of them but the sound of the voice intensified and it was accompanied by loud church music. Piano's and drums. I then kept on focusing until the sounds started fading out.

I then appeared to lose consciousness for a while. For how long i am not certain but before i knew it i was looking through my closed eyelids. I was uncertain about whether i was awake or laying in bed because i could see everything in the room in the same way i would when i am awake(meaning the same angle i saw it as i did when i laid down). The strange thing was that i was then seeing a wall in front of me that had this green stuff on the wall as if water had been running down the wall for a few years. The type of green slime you would find in a pond with frogs in. I do not know how to exactly explain this in English. But when starring at this wall i got scared and the emotions intensified until i was woken by it and fully aware.

This happened a few times after that time as well. I think that wall was a reflection of my fears and obstacles i set for myself in life. At this point i have not come into contact with that wall again. I think i got over those fears whatever they were(Maybe for the unknown). Now to get the feeling i experience when trying to project or when i am in a dream.

This would happen mostly like when i am in a dream. I would be dreaming and all of a sudden when i realize that i am dreaming i would get a feeling of pressure around my naval area. The feeling of pressure is more inward than outward. In the beginning it was very uncomfortable for me but now it is quite nice(must be because i am getting used to it). What i realized is that i even have control over this feeling around my naval area. It is like a energy sensation. The feeling would start and immediately i would think that i can use it to project; and by focusing on my naval area i could make the sensation increase or decrease. I mostly make it increase because i want to use it to exit. Then i would get no success in doing so and would stop. This sensation also makes me drowsy in my head. I now have been flying in my dreams ever since i can remember so my dream is vivid every single night and i have great control over them and my flying techniques is masterful. For this reason it is difficult to realize that i am flying and remember that it must be a dream an turn it into a real time projection(as the flying dreams now are so second nature to me). This feeling of pressure does anyone else experience it as well? or am i the only one? Just would love to know what it is and what the reason for it because no author ever wrote about this. It's quite unique in a sense. Wish that i could explain it in detail but English is quite difficult lol

our obes are sometimes colored by our expectations about what will happen.  In our daily life we have human created ideas about our limitations, we have assumptions about gravity and our bodies, and we project those limitations into the astral when we attempt to obe.  If you want to obe successfuly, you have to let go of those human beliefs about physics and let go of your fears of pain.  The pain in your stomach goes away when you want it to, so there is no need for you to keep having it, just let it go.  Just will yourself to exit your body and focus.  When you lose focus, your mind will start to wonder and you will know you are losing focus when you start seeing green slime on the wall, lol - let that be a clue to let go your inhibitions and just leave your limited human body.

There is a major energy storage centre in that area about two inches below the naval chakra. Robert Bruce calls it the sub-navel storage centre and in eastern cultures it's called a dan tien. As your energy body generates the astral body, energy is drawn from this area, which could account for the sensations you experienced.

@Nickspry
you got a point there dude. This has been occuring for a very long time and i extually enjoy it now and is able to change it in intensity just willing it to. Robert bruce does he say anything about being able to control this energy and can i use it to exit

Robert says energy stored there can be used for any kind of projection or lucid dreaming.

The technique is also used in Qi Gong ( Chinese meditative practice ) which often uses slow graceful movements and controlled breathing techniques to promote the circulation of Chi within the human body, and enhance a practitioner's overall health. They store the energy in the sub-naval storage center and in martial arts you can focus this energy into various points on your body when you are being attacked. I have seen a few very impressive demonstrations by the Shaolin monks.

If you're able to, I'd suggest printing it out and reading it like that.
Personally, I feel I'm more focused when I have something physical in my hands to read from, not just on a screen.

I would read Astral Dynamics rather than New Energy Ways if you specifically want to astral project. I think all Robert Bruces older work is available free at his site.

I believe that NEW is part of Astral Dynamics.
Or at least he gives a nice rundown of it in the book.

Hmmm, I was under the impression that although they are both based around the same energy development system, Astral Dynamics has more information which is specific to Astral projection, whereas NEW deals more with healing, kundalini etc... :?

Either way, it's important to learn both (in my opinion).

I have a lot of books by him and i do not have a printer. I also am more focussed on the task at hand when i read it hard copy and not on the pc. The pc make my eyes burn which is why i can not read all the books i have it is almost impossible to me as i have more than 1000 e-books on the occult but i agree that i need to read all his books
