1:00 am - I start meditating for an hour or two. doing energy work, focusing on each of my chakras for about 5 breaths each. from top, down, then all of them at once then restart from the top. i do this for about 15 mins. then i start trying to relax my body and try to induce and OBE, i get to the vibration stage but they are very subtle and disappear within seconds of me feeling them.

2:30 am - I give up and go to sleep. (Vivid dreams)

12:00 pm - I wake up, go to the wash room, then go back to sleep. I fall into a lucid dream right away (Whatever was on my mind atm).

12:30 pm - I wake up, look at the time, then fall into another dream (luicid).

1:00 pm - I wake up, look at the time, lucid dream. I had to be awake at around 3:00 pm so my mind wasnt deep in sleep. I do this in half hour intervals until about 2:00 pm.

2: 00 pm - I wake up but did not move at all. i thought about astral projecting. I closed my eyes and almost instantly i separated. i was standing in the middle of my room and i remember thinking "Finally, astral projection!" I threw my arms up as if to move up into the astral planes but i find myself standing at the end of this long, intestine looking tube. it felt eerie and uncomfortable to i thought of my body and instantly woke. i closed my eyes again and i separated instantly but this time i felt heavy, i felt a presence in my room. i was laying on my stomach and tried to turn around but was insanely difficult. It was not a good presence but it made me feel uncomfortable. i felt trapped and helpless so i thought of waking up and i did.

Has anyone experienced the same thing? Any advice on how to induce an OBE? iv read that its easier to learn in the mornings and recently iv been trying but the vibrations throw me off. Any help, advice or discussions would help alot. this is my first post  :-)

Hello and Welcome to the Astral Pulse!  :-)

The wake up, use the bathroom, have a LD, wake up again, go back to sleep have another LD, is basically the story of my life right now. At least 2-3 times a night, this happens now.

One thing you confused me about here is in your statement you say "I closed my eyes and instantly separated". But then you are asking for advice on how to OBE. What do you think a OBE is?

It looks to me like you are doing really good as it is now. All you need to do is continue practicing what you are already doing and you will start to see patterns emerging + you will also gain more control over the entire experience. Make sure to keep a Journal of all of your progress and any failures. This is the way we learn what works and what doesn't!

Thanks lionheart!

Iv read somewhere that sometimes you dream of having an OBE or projection which isnt actually a real projection because its still in the dream realm or something along the lines. but i guess any projection is better than none, and just stepping stones towards the real thing. i thought that when you project its all light, bliss and euphoric but i felt heavy, irritated,  and bothered when i "projected". would this be because im having low "vibrations"?

I learned one thing in life that has helped me quite a bit. It's actually words that I live by and here's what it is. I believe half of what I hear, but everything I see.

I read quite a bit on AP/OBE/LDs and no matter what I read, my own experiences become my truth.

That's why it's important to keep a good Journal. You can go back after a while and see for yourself what is really happening.

When I first started to AP, I was told by my Guide/Mentor, to just observe. I have a couple of years of experiences under my belt now, but I am still in observation mode.

Although once in a while I do love ALLOWING my curiosity to get the best of me, lol!  :-)

Wise words, and so true.

I think my biggest problem is trying to force an OBE/Projection. its just got to flow and happen but im just to anxious. im always looking or listening for something. im always aware of my surroundings and of my body. Just over complicating the simplicity of OBE/Projection.

Anyways thanks for your insight LionHeart, but i think i pretty much just answered my own questions aha :-D

People usually do here!

Many people come here seeking answers that only they themselves can answer!   :-)

The tube holds many things you will find you need to know. Im assuming it could be described as a tunnel.
It's so worth dropping everything and entering it.
Lets say you will never look back from the experience presented.
Have no fear, the presence is there to see if you're ready. It's very common throughout the centuries and once ignored, it goes away.
Remember this, it will aid your development greatly.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

HindSight

I will take that into account next time i am faced with a tunnel. A tunnel to the astral? I thought about the planes before i went to that place with out an actual image or experience to guide myself on, and this is where takes me? a tunnel. Im going in next time, without hesitation.
