Hello, has anyone made the transition from a Lucid dream to an oobe?
It seems that's what happened to me in this one, but I'm looking for feedback on similar experiences. The detail  I had not included in the account was that, upon deciding to fly, I lost vision (or closed my eyes?) for a few seconds, then saw again while in flight.

Sightseeing Oobe 9/17/2005 8:39 AM

I traveled to a roller coaster at night. I could only see the machinery area and my supervisor from the office was on the phone trying to fix it. I stayed a moment, then left. I went to a City street in a place unknown to me, and walked for a while but wanted to fly instead. I began soaring over the city and out over the country.

The mountains were snowy and the forests on them were a variety of psychedelic colors, and I felt branches brush against me as I flew through the trees. I rose a bit higher but began sinking, and I sensed my time in this experience was short. I landed softly. I could feel my energy for staying there was running out and then I woke up.

Yesterday during the day I planted an affirmation within myself to let my inner self be free to fly and go out. I believe I transitioned from dream to oobe within the experience when I consciously decided to fly, even though I did not think of it in those terms as I did it. The moon was full last night.

Hi Esotericus, I've had many lucid dreams of this very sort - very nice indeed. But I've never had one transition
into an OBE. In fact I'm told that this is difficult to do consciously. When you woke up, did you feel any strange sensations like tingling or vibrations at all? Did you happen to "feel" yourself  comming to just before you woke up?

There was a sense of coming back, of distance.  There was definitely a sense of plenty of time elapsed in travel in the experience. I found the change in sight in it to be rather interesting. The vibrations vary with me. They were mild this time. Other times they're more intense.
