Title: Flying! So Simple, yet so hard.
Post by: MHCS on June 20, 2013, 23:27:33
After researching AP experiences I noticed quite a few individuals talking about flying. How they could fly to their friend's house, fly down the road, through the sky, into space; A myriad of places.

I was always stuck to the ground.  Never getting more than a few feet off the ground before falling back in painless glory. It was fun in it's on way.  I always longed for more.  The ability to see tings like a bird.  I never mentioned my obsession with airplanes, or any flying devices really.  But I am obsessed with flight.

Until the other day: Finding myself easily in a lucid dream I worked it into vibration, and then I was out.  It was dark outside, and everyone was asleep.  (First time I have seen my physical self sleeping as well.) I ran downstairs out the door like a kid on Christmas, fear started about darkness but I ignored it, trying my best to go through the door, or walls, without opening the actual door.  I failed.  And not wanting to waste the experience, I just opened the door and went out.

The Blue Sun came out instantly lighting the world with warmth and, well, light.

I started hopping around like an astronaut on the moon, trying my best to fly. Nothing, but faceplants and laughing.  I would gain some air, though.  Then I remembered what I learned on the physical side of life. Free my mind, so to speak.  Forget everything, and just allow it to happen.

I started floating, getting higher than usual. I realized what was happening and back to the ground I went.

This was intriguing. So I eyed a branch in a tree, and let go...Soon I was hanging on by the limb, laughing all the while. It broke and we tumbled back to the ground.

Soon I was leaping all over my neighborhood, gathering courage for the flight to come.  Space.

I rose, and rose, and rose, and rose, until the earth was a sphere. I saw some crazy things before waking up.  Not scary, but too complex for my mind, I guess.

Letting go was the key...

The belief you can do it with the intent to make it work also had a strong influence.
Letting go and just doing it knowing you will is all it took.
Good work.

Remember your conviction in this and the rest will be child's play.

Flying is fun and you will get it down quickly. My problem with flying is that I always forget to do it. The more physical it feels, the more I hold myself to physical laws.

The more physical it feels, the more I hold myself to physical laws.
I find that I do this as well.

Lately, I have been abiding by the "physical laws" and in doing so have found that my experiences seem to be more adventurous and challenging at the same time.

I know that I can just change the scenario more to my liking with a thought, but when I do, I find that I have bypassed whatever lesson was meant for me to see.

Lately, I have been abiding by the "physical laws" and in doing so have found that my experiences seem to be more adventurous and challenging at the same time.

I know that I can just change the scenario more to my liking with a thought, but when I do, I find that I have bypassed whatever lesson was meant for me to see.

One thing I can say, is that when it is important for me to fly or break some other rule of physics, I do so almost instinctively. But it is always crucial in the moment and is really one of the few ways that I can accomplish the goal. In other words, if I can get something done just by walking and I'm not in immediate "danger", flying seems like an abuse almost.

Szaxx always has to remind me to use other gifts as well, such as mind reading and blocking off my own thoughts from others. If it's just a relaxed experience, I have no problem remembering to do some of these things. It's a different story, however, when the heat is turned up. :|

A master of the art knows,
To see with the mind and feel with the heart will give the question clarity.
To see with the heart and mind how they feel will give the best answer.

To learn then don't use the skills will lead you to nowhere.
The skill is to learn and use the skills then there's nowhere you don't know.

Common sense... Grasshopper style.

What I am getting in understanding is: The RTZ version of my house is my launchpad; my training ground.

Not to get weird, but I can pull lightning down and summon fire and all sorts of kenisis's(lol) while AP'ing, LD'ing.  It is just walls and flying were problems every time;  One down, one to go.

Are we being trained?  Learning the basics of other-side living? Next, will I finally get to meet the denizens of the other places?

Or will I have to take a complimentary diplomacy course before conversations with such beings?

Szaxx, It's, and Lion, thanks for your responses and advice.  Everyone I speak to besides my Mom, does not believe me.

Too many reality fluctuations in RTZ while inside to try verification, but will try until I can...

My ranting is almost done...

Also, my "abilities" increase during the waning(or is it waxing) of the moon and when it is full...My real first name, means: "Council of the Wolf."  Could shifting into the astral be my "Were" form?  This may be a little over-the-top, but my imagination runs wild sometimes. I use to have rage problems as a child...No longer a problem...As I oft dream running the Woods of Caledonia... :-DCouldn't resist....

Good luck, peace, and understanding to all.

It's funny you mention the moon. I am going bat excrement nutty tonight. Pardon my censored inappropriate language. I don't follow the moon cycles or anything... and I understand it is completely irrational. But I definitely feel a difference. Like, in a "oh, it must be a full moon tonight because I feel it". But tonight I just can't stand it. I feel like I'm crawling in my skin. GAH!!!!

Back on topic, I am a floater newbie. When I go oob and start hovering around, I really kind of stink. However, under other circumstances, I'm a very competent flier. That is, when I have my wings which is more often than not. But that takes into account physics, the situation, and my surroundings. It also took me a long time to "learn" and kind of like "grow" into it, per say. And just great, now I probably sound like some loon blabbering on. But my mind's in a shifty funk tonight. I'll probably read this tomorrow and laugh.

I think flying while projecting can be overcome with intent. Knowing that you can break the barriers set in place in the physical. You're not limited to them anymore. Like you said... So simple, yet so hard.

Funny again you mention the "were" thing. There's groups of people who think of themselves as weres and such. It makes much more sense than one would think. I have dabbled a bit in different areas of thinking, testing the waters, so to say, since I am rarely human in my dreams. (It's not as common as I thought...) But nevertheless, I'm pretty well versed with different ideas and I'd love to talk to you about them. ^_^

I used to climb the air - like it was water I suppose - then sort of glide down. Other times I would tense up and tuck my legs under myself and sort of glide across the floor. I used to have issues about how high I went.. usually not climbing further than any built up area I was in. Totally psychological - if that word applies here.

Flying is really amazing. I have experienced it only one time and I enjoyed it very much.
